Kimika the only symptoms i had were incredibly sore boobs and weight gain. Since stopping the Cyclogest last week my tummy is so much smaller and i've lost weight! Never had any flu symptoms at all. Hope you're not getting sick!

Hi ladies

Vix, thx for letting us know about that babyboom factory, It was also like 3 years ago I went here with my sister, I think our first stop when we start looking will be the Plaza.

Its amamzing how quickly things are absorbed and taken from the babis, I bought up last Monday evening but nothing really came out,I was hovering over the toilet and my stomach was saw from all the reflux, then again on Friday, as soon as I came home from work, half hour I had just finished a huge grapefruit and while hovering the toilet not much was coming up and I was thinkin, jees babies, how bout leaving some food for mommy?? LOL.

Binks, hope DH gets better soon and arwen doesn't battle too much with thse, shame man, poor lo. Also hope you feel better soon!

Kimika, you will have side effects from cyclogest, but I dont remember flu-like symptoms, at the moment, after taking it I can literally feel my body go into nausea mode, and it made my bb's very tender. You might feel more ms and it will be from the increase in progesterone, so try eat whenever you can. Hope you are enjoying your holiday!

Hope everyone else is having a fun weekend!

Binks- I hope DH is o.k! Poor Arwen, thise eye teeth are sore, Christopher just cut his last week and we had a few bad bad nights.

So went to the Baby Boom Factory yesterday and it was actually a waste, it was smaller than the baby boom in Boksburg and I didn't think it was that cheap, either that or I've lost all idea on how much baby things cost. I remember days when buying dirct from the factory was way cheaper but apparently not so anymore.

Dischem have Jumbo packs of Pampers new baby size 2 for R120 each, they're R175 in PnP so quite a saving. Active baby Jumbo packs are R120 aswell.

Checkers has Huggies Gold for R150 per Jumbo pack, + free travel wipes, I bought 6 packs LOL I use the Huggies Gold for night time because they last so much longer and then just use cheaper nappies during the day. Usually whatever is on special.

Just under 3w till I can see the babies again but it feels like forever.

Carmen- woooo hooooo your scan is on Monday! I bet you are super excited! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Thanks Vix, I have thought about teh travelling up and down, south and east are both some distance away frm hospital, we might have to consider looking for a place to stay for a while close to it, but I know the hospital has nurse homes for parents like us, that will be a different story, that we will have to cross closer to the time.

I am completely with you with the finance part, its like getting married, u hold back because you want to try save, you're scared you dont have money, but you manage, same with a baby. Before we did treatment, I went through so many emotions about if I should or shouldn't and then when we decided it was how many embryo's, and I never ever thought they would all take, not many girls get a postive from the frist treatment and I prayed so hard that what ever was to be was meant to be, and if it were more than one baby that DH and I would be able to manage physically, mentally and financially, I am aware and do believe it is going to be a challenge, but I believe that this wouldn't of happened to us if it were not meant to be.

ISo having said that, 'll be fine, you will be fine, we all will be fine :)

Got bit carried away there, lol, actually just wanted to say that I also think support is alot more important than finance cos finance you can work around, cancel luxuries etc, support you cannot...

I was talking to DH tonight and he agrees, Finances may be very tight with multiples but.... You will always make it work. When I had C I forefit my hair cuts and nice face creams etc but my mum treats me for my birthday to a cut and a box of hair dye and it's like a real treat now. We don't socialise as often and beers are very rarely seen in our fridge but the money we no longer spend on luxuaries covers the cost of our baby and he makes us happier than any luxuaries. Support is way more important than finances, no amount of money will get you through the hard times if you don't have a shoulder to cry on or someone to lend a hand.

My tummy is quite tender today.
