Hope you are all well.
I think I am starting with morning sickness in my second trimester - feeling a bit "naar" the last two days after I thought I skipped it in my first trimester - any way the fun and joys.
Maryke D - the shop you are referring to at the Oriental Plaza - is it close to World of Samoosas (also second floor)?

Yup, maryke and vix, we will all have popped bythe time the year rings 2011, even before Christmas.

AM, went for my scan this morning, between doing urine sample, checking my vitals and going into dr's room, I had started bleeding, all 3 babis are fine their heartbeats were strong (we heard them ), all measuring 8w4d, but dr has booked me off for bed rest over next 3 days. Bleeding seems to have stopped, not too worried, (dont want to stress myself), but I am monitoring it. I was hoping to ask dr if I could reduce cyclogest to maybe 2 daily, but didn't even bother cos I knew he would say no.

So this is me, back on bed, hoping all continues to be ok with my trio.

Maryke- I have to know the sex, I wanted a girl so badly with bmy 1st and when we found out it was a boy I was devistated, but finding out at 16w gave me long enough to come to terms with the idea. If I have 2 boys in here I will need to know so I can be prepared for it although I will still be very sad because I want a girl.

I am really not doing much shopping for this baby I'll be honest, I've got stuff from C and then I'm borrowing for the second baby.

Ladies don't forget the Oriental Plaza for shopping for baby stuff they are also good on prices (second floor)

Chan wow we have reached 13 weeks but why do I still feel so nervous?????

Mina we found out with the first one cause I was so excited just wanted to know now it's more of I can't wait till they are born to find out but the family is fighting with us cause they want to know but it's falling on deaf ears

So glad that all is ok with you wow 13 weeks! Must be such a relief!

Sexy Hexy - I bought a peg perego pram with the car chair and base, was in a very very goeed condition, a medailion automatic breast pump, feeding chair and a booster seat for my oldest. If you shop wisely you will get good stuff for great prices. I had the breast pump posted to me cause it came from cape town and it was still way cheaper than in the shops and still spotless.

Maryke - I don't want to know the sex either. I didn't knew with the previous two either. For me it feels like opening a present before my birthday!

And by the way I am feeling great. Dont know if it is because I have reached 2nd trimester, but no more tiredness or nausea only going to the loo two times during the night.

AFM not much news. Just exhausted today. Waiting for gynae to phone me back - when we had our scan the doc thought it was a bit weird that there was still a yolk sac at this late stage. I just wanted to check with my gynae what that could mean. I used my last progesterone supp last night and just need to make sure it's safe to stop. I've also got a cyst on my ovary - hence all the pain the other day! He said it'll go away soon though.
