SexyHexy - most gynaes will do first consults week 8 or 9. I'm with a FS they do scans at 7 weeks to confirm pregnancy and heartbeat.

Vix - I am excited - this week is going to drag... tick - tock. Great I want to order a few items in July.

sexy hexy, i would say it's not really worth going until about 7w from LMP because before that you will just see a blob with no heartbeat. From about 6 and a half weeks babys heart starts beating but sometimes it's slightly later like7w especially if you O'd late in your cycle.

How soon must/can one go for the 1st scan?

When my doc phoned he said I'm only about 2weeks (not counting LMP it seems), and that I must only make an appointment in 4weeks time

Carmen- I'm going to stop taking orders about August but I will still have my machines out a bit longer to make stuff for the twins so i can take the odd order here and there from you guys probably until about October. from then i really need to put my feet up.

Vix, when will you stop taking orders?

carmen- oooooo that 1st scan is so great! great news about the MS although i know you probably don't feel so! LOL

Vix - good that you are adjusting to the idea of twins, acceptance is a great step forward.
Asp - glad your MS is not so severe.
Kimika = true most of the group seem so much further along.

AFM- symptoms are starting, still bloated but now breasts are starting to be sore, have slight MS and a headache . One week left to my first scan.
