Morning ladies,

Since I was actually sick the other day I haven't even felt nauseaus, odd but I'm pleased!

I thankfully work for myself so don't have to worry about telling a boss. In fact the only people we haven't told yet is the medical aid.

Suriya- these discovery people are confusing the crap out of me LOL would you mind to email me the correct form to have pregnancy covered as PMB and which codes I'm supposed to use. vickie@babybear.co.za

I suddenly started thinking about boys names yesterday, hoping it doesn't mean I'm having a boy :-( we have a girls name.

Morning!!

Aspoestertjie i'm glad symptoms aren't bugging you! I'm back to my normal self again and feeling great! 4.1kg's??? Oh my oath... my daughter was 2.7kg!!

Suriya glad you're feeling better! Well done on telling your boss! I felt so relieved when I did!

Vix my DH and I are really similar to you guys! I tell him everything that's going on and he's aware of absolutely everything. And it's made him so much closer to me. Awesome we have the same scan day!! And I love how you refer to baba as her!!!

No news from me! Feeling great! Just growing rapidly now! No hiding my tummy at all - everyone that sees me know's i'm now pregnant!

Anyone used a doppler before? I was just wondering if you could pick up the heartbeat before 12 weeks! My SIL has one and will give it to me this weekend - can't wait!

Hi All

Suriya, my LG is 6 months now, and I am 6 weeks pregnant again (planned - hubby & me want our kids close together). Also not looking forward to telling my boss that I am pregant again.

I started working for my company last year 4th of May, 5th of May found out I was pregnant and told then right away. They were really surprised, but great during pregnancy, my 4 months maternity leave and all. Came back this year April and now I am pregnant again. I will only be telling then when I have too (might be next week - stomach is GROWING!!!), as the last time they treated me like I was "fragile" due to the preanancy (work with men mostly) and I was so bored!!!

How are you ladies feeling? Any more symptoms? I still have nothing except some AF type pains now and then. But my stomach is already starting to show (hubby noticed aswell but was to afraid to say anything apparently ;) )

I was huge during my last pregnancy and had a big baby (4.1kg at birth), so I don't think our secret will be our secret for long :S . Pitty, I quite enjoy having a secret just for hubby and me

Hi girls,

Me and DH were talking a few weeks back, it wasn't being married that made us close but having a child. We really grew into our relationship once we fell pregnant and even more so since the birth of C. If your DH is interested tell him everything you feel physical or emotional let him try to understand what it's like to be pregnant. My DH even knows when I'm having a day of excessive discharge, or when my boobs are feeling hard, I try to tell him something every day so he too can feel involved and I think that is what made us so close, we really became like one during my pregnancy. Oh and always use terms like "our pregnancy" or now "we're pregnant" when you talk to other people, men love that!

Maryke- I think it is more than fair to ask for such items at a second shower but more so because of the twins. I'm sure most people wouldn't spend under R100 on a gift so they can at least buy a small pack of nappies and a shampoo or bum cream.

I am mainly going to ask for consumables at my shower, I have most things and if it's a girl my friend has clothes for me. I have blankets coming out my ears from the last baby and of course I make all my own linen and fleecy blankets.

Chan- my scan is the same day as yours! I can't wait to see her as a baby looking form!

My DH has booked me for a massage 1 full hour in the afternoon after my scan..... It's so nice that he's more helpful this time, I think he realised how much the pregnancy took it's toll on my body last time. I think aswell last time he was unsure what to do how to handle me, this time I can see he is sooo confident.

Paisley I had 2 MC's last year in 5 months. It was really a horrible year for us and emotionally draining. But everything happens for a reason and I know that we weren't ready then. But my Dh and I are in such a good place right now and so is my daughter and God probably knew that. Now is the right time to bring another addition to our family!
