Hope you are all well?
All well on this side. I took Inge for her 9 month injections on Tuesday. Shame she took it really well and only cried for about 30 seconds. This morning she pulled the kitchen chair on top of her and bumped her head against the cupboard – she cried more over this than over the injection – poor baba. She now weights 8kg and is 71cm tall – such a skinny little madam. She started with mamamamama – so cute when she is in her cot and she is calling.
Carmen – your LO is so cute!!!
Maryke – congrats on FJ’s birthday
Chan – I am convinced that Kade and Inge are twins – they are so alike. What is your secret for having him sleep so well? I think my biggest mistake is that I still give Inge milk at night – I’m such a softie – I tried water during the night but the other night she cried so much so I gave in and made her a bottle. I will get there one day – I know
MommyN – how is Missy and Nathan?
Vix – are you still around?
Chris – how is the A-team?
Suriya – how are you?

The building at home is driving me insane – today they are moving all the drainage pipes in the kitchen so dishes will be cleaned camping style. This weekend I must pack up my kitchen – such a mission and so not looking forward to it. I know once everything is finished it will be great but hell to get there. Note to myself: never build again!!!!!!

Maryke i'm glad your boys are doing great!

Kade has pink eye at the moment. Very miserable but got antibiotic drops for him this morning so hopefully he'll be ok soon!

He slept from 7:50pm last night until 4:45am this morning!!!!!!!!!

Shjoe Maryke, we are on the same wave length today! I was thinking of our get together this afternoon and wanted to message you! I'm in for 12th. Can we include our other kids too?

Sorry, I have no major ideas. Should we do some kind of gift swop? Say a R20 gift? We do a draw on who buys for who - for the older kids. Or say, bring a "baby" gift (not that we have real babies anymore, and then if you are bring an older child, you bring a surprise gift for them too.

Should we start an event on facebook? I think most of us are on facebook.

Maryke, the boys are doing so well! Happy birthday fro Frances-Jane for next week! I hope daddy brings her something nice back - something not rugby related LOL. Thats awesome for him to win a prize! I love New Zealand, but would also rather opt for the Maurtius trip! Lucky you!

With us, all is going well. Healthy and happy. Just the sleeping issue... I actually let Nathan cry himself to sleep tonight. Both my kids are not wanting to go to sleep in the evenings. Hubby is away, so they are out of routine.

Nathan started crawling last night, and from today he is pullinghimself up and starting to cruise around! He has 6 teeth that I can see, but the next 2 are about to pop. He is really moaning and biting his hand with itchy gums!

I finally gave him a top up feed of formula 2 nights ago. Very sad for me, I really thought I could breastfeed forever! But I'm proud that after all the days in NICU and the suffering with silent reflux, until now he has only had breast milk and never had a bottle! (In NICU he was tube fed).

Hey, I am watching Great Expectations (I recorded it on monday) and I just saw they have a picture of me and Sarah!!! I was watching while typing so I am glad I looked up!!! LOL

Anyway, I cant remember anything else, hope allthe other mommies and babas are doing well and enjoying the warm weather!

Carmen aaahhh she is so gorgeous reminds me of how Frances-Jane was aahhh memories.

My boys are doing much better sleeping thru maybe once or twice a week they will wake once during the night I thank them everyday.....
They went for jabs today Aiden is weighing in at a wopping 9.6kg's and LLewellyn 8.4kg's Llewellyn crawling like a champ and pulling himself up to the standing posistion.........Aiden lazy lazy lazy he is still leapord crawling but ag he will get there.......Aiden has 4 toothies and LLewellyn 2 but I think he is teething at the moment but still nada!!!

Is mommies princess birthday next week and daddy is not here shame....

He won the Absa competition to go watch the rugby semi-finals for 2 people lucky fish, I declined his offer and told him he can take his boet only if he takes me to Mauritius next year .............guess you is going to Mauritius next year!


Ok listen up ladies, are we still doing the moomie birtday parties for all the bubs on the 12th of November???? If we are lets get some ideas together

Welcome back Ster! We missed you! So glad Inge is sleeping better in the day! Are nights still bad? I have the same problem with Kade - he throws himself backwards and throws tantrums already! Our kids definitely sound like twins!!!

Carmen i'm so glad M is so good! You're really lucky! My monster would have wrecked the joint! Hehehe

Well i'm ecstatic to report that Kade is sleeping like a demon! Asleep by 8pm and wakes at 4 then back to sleep until 6!!!!!!!!! I never ever thought we'd get here! But hopefully it lasts! He's got 3 teeth. Two on top and one on the bottom. Another 2 top teeth are busy pushing through now - so he's cross cutting poor little man!

I was on first aid training last week. Also went for an interview, an opportunity I wasn't looking for, and I don't think I want the job. Happy where I am, only tired of the commute.

I went to a cetenary breakfast on Sunday morning whole bunch of ladies ranging in ages from 80's to 30's took Mishka along she was so sweet and quiet. The one woman was shocked when we left to find out that M was there. When M got tired she just went into a lying position in my arms, I gave her her dummy and she fell asleep for a nap. The buzz of all the ladies chatting in the room was like white noise.
