Hello Solo. Nice to see you back to your old self. And you are so right, letting go of secrets can be so liberating and very often people don't react as bad you thought they might. So don't worry, your BF's mom will come around, she really has no choice. LOL about the trip to clicks!!!

TaNasha & Solo, what gender are you guys hoping for? I think i remember Solo wanted a little girl?

I also had fun with Hubby and my sisters deciding what we needed to buy for the baby. I got one of those Edgars baby catalogues and to me everything just seems to be a must have!!!! Luckily my sisters know better after having gone over-board with their little ones.
I'm thinking of buying mostly neutral colours for those things that we can use in the future. But the blue stuff just keep screaming my name!!!

I shopped so much this weekend, i'm even ashamed to say how much i spent. Does anyone else feel guilty buying stuff that isn't for the baby?

Rakker, I'm also sorting stuff out and throwing stuff away. Not baby clothes thoug - we have to move before the baby comes and I want everything perfectly organised for the move and want to get rid of as many things as possible. I'm driving DH crazy because everything I've completed must be kept perfect. And its funny because normally he's the super neat one and I'm the slob.
Esmarie I also hate house work but also have to do it. Although I don't iron - ever.
AFM We're looking for a new place to live and put in an offer to purchase on a place this weekend. I'm so nervous because its such a big responsibility but also excited because its the first time we'll live in our own place. But first the offer must be accepted and then we need to get our bond approved. So we'll see...

Baby will be fine in your room. Most mommies prefer having baby in their bed for about 4 months in any case.

Yep Rakker John 8:32 "and the truth shall set you free" and it does I feel so much better now - no more ducking and diving! Even if BF hadn't told his folks yesterday I would have had to avoid them because I have got awfully "fat" and his mom would have figured it out very quickly!

My gynae didn't feel it necessary to get the quick results (fish test) as my medical aid won't pay for it and also he said that it isn't always 100% accurate and could indicate negative results when the later results could come back positive. So I opted out of the fish test for financial reasons...

How exciting sorting out and getting ready for LO! I don't have an extra room for baby - my mom lives in my second bedroom. So baby and I will share my room! We will manage just fine tho!

Rakker, I hate any type of housework, but I do it cause its my job! I dont really have that much clothes from other 2, as we decided we were finished, so gave most away! So I will have to buy a lot of things.

Solo, so glad you are in a better place. Isn't there something in the bible about the truth setting us free? I also hate lying, so I understand. Are you going to get the yes/no result that you get in a few days? As far as I can remember there is something like that where you get a result sooner and then the complete results in 2-3 weeks time. (Might be wrong).

I've been unbelievably stressed over so the amnio, his folks not knowing etc that now that its all out and the amnio is over, I feel as if a burden has been lifted from my shoulders. I'm tired of hiding my pregnancy and its been tough on me as I don't like lying etc. Now bf must just tell his son!!!!

I'm not worried or anxious about the results - I know this baby is fine. The amnio was basically to eliminate the 1 in 100 chance of down syndrome. And at least I can look forward to hearing whether its pink or blue!!!

Oh and my estranged father (friends on fb) told me this morning that my estranged step sister is 7 weeks pregnant. So I suppose some family healing is on the way! The entire side of that family are baying to find out the who, why and how's of my pregnancy! Hehe!!!!
