Esmari, I hate doing the laundry, especially hanging the stuff on the drying rack. I washed 2 bundles of my son's old baby clothes (that I can use with my LG), and hanging that endless amount of items on the rack got to me :S .

TaNasha, good luck with your scan tomorrow! Don't get your hopes up on determining the gender, as most gynaes will not make a judgement on it this soon. You can get a nice shot and we can try and guess, LOL.

MsDee, my medical aid also only covers 2 scans. But the gynae does one with every visit. Once a month is fine, but my next scan will be my last monthly scan and after that it will be every 2 weeks. She will be fine if I tell her not to do it, but this is my last pregnancy and I don't want to miss a single scan.

AFM: Sorted out 3 refuse bags of clothes and blankets during the weekend. There is at least half of the stuff that I can re-use, so not bad. I have washed and folded and packed away half of that and the other half is still drying. And that is all that I have done. I need to sort the room out as our study will become the baby room and is it full of stuff that must be moved to our store room. Luckily we have one, but it is above the garage with some steep steps. Hubby will have to do that part. I just need to get some boxes for it. Then we need to find space for the study desk as I deffinitely don't want that in there. And then I have to sort out the closset. Not looking forward to sorting it all out  .

Hi Solo!

I'm fine today, thank goodness. No tears about nothing, LOL. And you? You sound so good at this stage, even after the cold reception... Is the waiting getting to you yet?

TaNasha do tell more about the cabbage test!! I'm sooo intrigued!
Hun I doubt they will see anything at your scan tomorrow. Even if they get a good view it is very difficult to tell the two genders apart so early as they look very similar. I'm dying to know and my car started to make its way to Clicks on Sat morning, but I had a stern chat to the car and it took me home again :)

Esmari don't do too much hard work in the house ;) I know it has to be done, but... Take it easy!

AFM - BF's folks came to see him yesterday and I made myself scarce! He told them ther big news....he didn't tell me how they reacted, but I got to his place when they were still visiting and I got a very cool reception from his mom. Sigh. I suppose she needs some time to accept that I'm pregnant. But at least they know and I have gone onto FB and "liked" Ena Breast Pumps- even if I removed the post afterwards. Oh and I "announced" my pregnancy as well (hid the post from BF and his mom - didn't want to rub their noses in it...) Anyway all went mad once I posted my news :)

How are you feeling today Rakker?

Enjoy your day everyone!

Rakker you are totally entitled to feeling down. We all have the same some days. I am also always stunned at the amount of support I get on here, and it feels like i never give quite as much back.

Solo I would buy that test, but thats just me! I cant wait to find out! I still havent done my cabbage test, I keep forgetting to buy cabbage, will make a note to buy some tomorrow.

I have a scan on Tuesday and I will be 13.2 weeks, will they be able to see anything then yet? I have booked a private gender scan for 16 weeks, but the suspense is just killing me!

Rakker Im sorry you are having a down day. It's normal to have one every now and then so don't be hard on yourself. Remember your body and mind are preparing for a baby!!! Take it easy, have a nice bubble bath when you get home and then relax with a nice chocolate. Chocolate cures everything :) I hope you feel better tomorrow (hugs)

LOL yeah, this gender test is still calling me, but then I didn't go through yesterday just to find out that my baby is normal - I already know that!! ;) What I don't know is whether its a boy or girl. So I shall just ignore the test and wait for my amnio results! Besides - I cant very well go around telling everyone "It's a girl" or "it's a boy" when the results came from a home pee test -99% accurate or not!! It just doesn't seem official enough ;) LOL If I had the money to throw around I would love to buy it after I know the gender - just to see if it is correct or not! But that is just a waste!

TaNasha you really are in the wars aren't you? Shame hun. I hope it isn't the 'flu. Stay warm and drink plenty of fluids. Lets hope you feel much better very soon.

Weeskind - where are you?
Sunrise - how are you doing?

I also can't figure out my scans - even when I am there all I can identify is the head!!

Thanks MsDee! It will be better tomorrow, I'm sure. I am just so glad for this platform where I can vent my feelings. And I get a lot of support here (wish I would give more).
