I dreamed last night that I had a scan and that its a boy. I hope my dream was VERY confused!! I really want a girl Still a few weeks before my gender scan. Baba is still just baba, I haven't even gone near thinking about names - where do you start... LOL

I couldn't get my results - I think mainly because its 23 dec and everyone is closing and no one is where they are supposed to be. But had a wonderful relaxing day and feel much much better. I really think it was a panic attack and not anything serious.

Tanasha you can see the sex from 16 weeks for sure. Anything they tell you before that may be incorrect as the clitoris is still swollen and taking it's form so it can be mistaken for a penis.
So I'd suggest booking the private scan after 16 weeks

from when can you see the sex? Here the medical aid only covers 2 scans- at 12 and 20 weeks. so i want to get a private one around 16 weeks, or maybe earlier if thats possible?

Kariehn, I went my scan on monday at 17 weeks and 4 days, the baby had his/her legs crossed Enjoy picking out names & now you can even start buying cute little blue outfits!!! Yay!
I hope your blood tests come out okay, sorry you even have to go through this.

I'm 18 weeks pregnant today!!! Yay! I think i'm starting to show. Tried to go shopping yesterday, got such a scare, the more i walked the more pressure i felt on my bladder, but sort of like there's a big stone about to come out! (Sorry for being so graphic) my sister and friends say it's normal but now i'm thinking maybe i should give up gym altogether

I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well. Gosh, thrombosis doesn't sound nice at all. What time today will you have your results? Please let us know, I will be praying for you. No-one needs a dampener on their Christmas, especially as you have such good news to share with your family, so I'm hoping your tightness in your chest will disappear without a trace. Try not to stress (yeah, I know - easier said than done), but you really need to look after yourself and relax. Put your feet up with a good book and a glass of fruit juice (don't forget the cocktail umbrella in your glass)
