Solo time the BH!

ML is wondefrul, i woke up at 9 and then still laid in bed for about 30 mins and then i read for another hour. Took a shower and now I am having lunch. I have a meeting with a lactation consultant at 2. She will show me handy tricks for breastfeeding a baby with a cleft, so it should be interesting.

Laurakim, have been debating on whether we can afford baby shoot but that foto of Jack is soo priceless i might look aside and do the shoot seriously. Those in Cape Town does anyone have contacts with an affordable new born photographer,,,,,

@Esmari love your bump and well am sorry about the VBACC not happening but am glad you have a better route for the baby though. Love your bump you are almost there indeed an dwas happy for you with the camera and you are one positive someone, thought of you today when opening our car door and it scratched my neighbours' just hoped for an insurance miracle.

Solo all the best, you are almost there we might be on the same week,
AFM, am also going through these painfull BH and well not running tummy but frequent toilet going and since yesterday my feet have begun to swell and hands slighltly swollen but BP is still normal. Am just coming from my Wednesday Hospital visit and today i met a very nice Gynae at Mowbray Maternity. Given that am due she has given me until next week and then next week 1 July if labour doesnt start will go for C/S i told her i dont want to be induced being a vbac and all. So We are now left with 7 days to still have a natural birth and if baby decides wants to come later will come thru C/S. i just feel numb like no feelings on that. My mom and dad are here so today went for the 6am with her and it was fun to chat and chat forever with her. Was shocked that for the past 2 weeks my wait is stuck at 88 and no more gains as i had been told baby gains 200gm per week, we expect baby to be around 3.6kgs, we shall see.

Solo - are you timing the BH? They may be contractions? A friend of mine also said a runny tummy can be a sign of labour.

So watch it and listen to your body!

Niknaks - she is beautiful.

We are all still good. I am very hesitant to put our night time routine out there in case I jinx it But we are doing well - we have a routine for bath and bed and it seems to be working for now

I just need to try fit the bigger kids into that - for now I feel I am totally neglecting them

Hi ladies

Went for my 6 week post delivery check up at the gynae yesterday. All is well, still have 6 kg to loose. He said I probably should have lost more, but probably am eating too much.
Was unable to do a papsmere as I am still bleeding.

Have had M at home this week as he is sick, much better today so he is sure to drive me crazy.

I Also saw your advert on the Telly a while ago, stunning!
Sorry about not having a Vbac, seems successful vbac's are few and far between
But we accept what the doctors advise to be blessed with a healthy baby.

Laurakim- how are you and baby Jack, hope you are feeling ok and the baby blue feeling passes quickly.

Solo and Tanasha - I recall my gynae saying that normally people don't gain in the last weeks. Although I gained- thought it was my last days of cake eating

Karien - wow well done on the weight gain, growing nicely, are you breast feeding?
If baby is gaining weight leave him to sleep. Lucky you, enjoy the sleep.
Sarah woke up so often last night, 12, 2, 4, 6am. Feeds a little bit and then nods off.

Hi nicknacks, Nicole is beautiful, is she smiling already?

Phillipajane - Zoe is precious. Wow you are also getting long sleeps so lucky!

The pics from the photoshoot came out pretty much how I wanted, but would have also liked to have some with a white background. We get to choose 25 from those on the web. If we want the other 15, it is R65 each or R500 for all 15. So difficult to choose.

Sarah has her 6 week check up at the Paed today.
