Hello ladies!

Wow! so much happening. I've been reading every single post and i just love hearing my phone beep with another update.

My reason for being MIA is because for now i choose not to think about my hospital experience as it gets me quite angry and so emotional that i forget that my boy is here with me, healthy, safe and doing great.

But other than that, the last 9 days with my little boy have just been pure bliss. I just can't get enough of him. & he's a perfect little angel.

AHA? Congratulations on the birth of your little one.

Phillipajane, besides your midwife being a bit of a bully, sorry you can't have the birth experience that you'd planned. But i'm glad you are at peace with the whole thing.

Laurakim are you next? Enjoy the last few days.

TaNasha, I saw my friend's pregnancy photos done by a professional photographer. She came out flawless on all the pics even though she had a few stretchmarks and scars. I think it's a combination of lighting and photoshopping. So enjoy your shoot, i'm sure the pics will be lovely

Hi ladies hope you are all well and enjoying your babies or bumps

Sarah keeps me so busy. She sleeps well at night, feeds at 12 and 3 but goes back to sleep immediately after the feed and nappy change. I forget how often new borne have their nappies changed. We are still using number 1 's, but as the weight overlaps, I am sure number 2 nappies would fit. I have been using both buggies gold and pampers premium care. I like the huggies as they have a stripe that changes colour after they have weed, but I find that constant use of it gives baby slight nappy rash, while the pampers premium does
not.

Phillipajane - you must do what you think is best for you and baby. My gynae advised me both times to have a csection. I Aldo had a lot of people tell me that it was unnecessary.. But in the end I have 2 healthy babies and how they entered the world does not really matter. And yes I am sure it was a dig at you.

Tanasha - I never had a maternity shoot. When I thought about it I was huge, and had no nice fitting clothing. But I did a newborn shoot. Can't wait to see the pics.

Laurakim- great that you got the shoot as a gift!

Solo- I just got feeding bras from woolies.
Yes not much time to do stuff, most of the day is spent holding and feeding baby.
If you are looking fir more time, you may want to bottle feed. Most of the day is spent breast feeding every 2 or so hours, about 8 times a day. If you bottle feed, someone else can help feed and the feeds are generally only every 4 hours.

Lucky for us the sun has come out, we joined my mom for a quick coffee. At the mug and bean, and Sarah was very good!

TaNasha don't worry about your stretchmarks - they can be very easily PhotoShopped out! If you need help with that, just shout...

LOL at the arsehole comment Philipajane! BF also got a fright this week when Josh went beserk and it looked as if my stomach was going to do an "Alien" thing - remember when the alien exploded out of someones stomach in the movie "Alien"? Or am I now showing my age?

I went out and bought some BFeeding bras this morning. I tried the Playtex and then settled on the Shelley brand. Ugh, I don't usually go for anything Shelley, but I liked their extra support band that runs inside the bra that stays there when the flap is open. And I bought some front opening nighties. Finding some has been like searching for hens teeth. So... my bags are packed. Well, just the last bits like toothbrush and toothpaste still to pop in. Oh I must remember to buy some Rescue Remedy and Arnica tabs.
Mandymel, I can soooo understand your statement about being in denial. I was in tears last night as I finally confessed to BF that I'm just not ready to be a mom yet or ever Well, he listened and then reassured me that I'd be just fine and that he will help me and that somehow we will get through it all and that there are far too many blessings with regards to Joshua than we would have without him. I cannot tell you ladies how scared I am of being a mom. Maybe it's because I'm older and am so set in my ways and used to my independance.

Is anyone else finding that their bump is almost always hard as if contracting with BH? It's very uncomfortable! Also so much pressure down there that even passing wind hurts? Sorry for tmi, but this is all so weird for me!

Rakker, I hope you didn't think I was critizising new moms for being so quiet. I understand, and was worrying that if new moms can't get onto Moomie to post, then I'm going to battle to work because baby is going to be getting all of my attention. I don't want to work...but I need to earn money otherwise we will starve! I tell you now that working on VPN in bed is the best thing ever!!!! Especially in this miserable weather.
