Morning everyone!

Phew this weather is perfect for maternity leave!!!!!! Felt very sorry for BF when he left this morning in the rain and cold and I snuggled up under the duvet. I did at least get out of bed and make him some coffee and lunch for work. But then I snuck back into bed... I then popped into PnP and am now at home working.

Congrats AHA?!!!!! Brilliant news! How are you getting on with LO?
New mommies are so quiet here which worries me because I know that the babies are keeping you all so busy!!! I need to work once Joshua is born, so I hope he is going to be a good little boy ;)

Thanks for the tips Philipajane. I'm going to have to save them somewhere!

I haven't bought any feeding bras yet. I suppose I ought to get my A into G and go and get myself some. Such a boring shop though! I like buying exciting stuff :silly:

The baby shower was so nice. It was just BF family and they all made such a fuss. Joshua is now the most spoilt little boy ever, he has sooo many clothes. BF's SIL asked her mother to sew a nappy bag and a rather fabulous moses basket crib for Josh. I do a lot of sewing so I can appreciate the work that went into it. Yikes, she even made a mattress with a fitted sheet. It's too cute for words. And she also sewed a big "elephant" breastfeeding cushion. It's gorgeous! BF's family all commented on the change they can see in BF re the baby. So all in all it was a good day. It was wonderful for me to feel the love and acceptance after so many months of rejection. I was just remembering that I was 6 months pregnant before BF would touch my bump. Now he is so involved and has really bonded with Josh.

Gynae says I will have a csec, no doubts about it now. I'm seeing him on Friday. Baby is very low now, and very uncomfy. I feel so much pressure down there.

I nearly fell again yesterday eve. I had a few light grocery packets in my hand and I was walking in when BF arrived home, as he drove past me and parked, my left ankle just gave away and luckily his car was right there for me to "fall" against. Of course, BF gave me grief for carrying the parcels. I guess I'm too much of an independent girl! I'm not used to not doing everything myself. Luckily all I suffered was a sore ankle and bruised ego.

Mornings

Dinner was great last night. Had lasagne. Was jummy. Today I have a 'mommy day' just outside of town.

Laurakim, too bad you couldnt just stay at home yesterday. Hows the pain?

Phillipajane, you won't believe how my lg cleans her room. It usually starts with me telling her to clean, then she starting to cry, then she tells her its clean, and I say its not (without looking - Im a mom, I just know) and her throwing a tantrum cause how to I know. And when I eventually have a look, she just stuffed EVERYTHING into her closset by her shoes, under her bed and in her toybox. I now tend to then just throw it out and she has to clean it all over again. Resulting in more crying, resulting in me yelling at her..... Anyway, last night I opened her closset to put away laundry, and what do I find? The yersey and jacket she had on, stuffed in with her shoes. And its clean, cause its cold and wet so she didn't play outside, and her winter clothes is just in the shelve above her shoes! So I ask, why the hell does she do it?
But we are getting there.

Wow, I am also 'in pain'. Although I am regular, I still feel so constipated, and it hurts.

To buy nursing bras? Or not to buy? It flippen costs almost R300 for one bra. Think I am going to go with regular bras I can just easilz get a boob out to feed. Just 'hook' it under the breast.

Thats it from me for now, gotta get out of bed and have breakfast.

Hey Ladies,

I spent the day at the shop today - my assistant called in sick

It was actually a crappy day but I am home now, warm and waiting for my family to get home too.

Had to chuckle at the talk of getting frisky - right now I want to hear none of it. I am so sore all over and tired and over it - all I want to do is sleep (uninterrupted) until baby arrives ;)
