Im 28 and there is no one in the family that I know who has downs.

When do you lovely ladies plan to start preparing baby's room and buying stuff ? I suppose its easier if you know the gender but I get tempted everytime I see baby stuff ::

Hapi they'll measure the thickness of the neck between the spine and the skin - if it's bigger than 2.8mm then it's a risk for downs. Mine was 1.7mm. The doc will then look at babas noses to see if they have a nose bone - if they have then risk very low for downs. You'll also be asked to go do bloods

If you don't have family history of downs and your under 35 your risk is very low

Laliek, glad to hear that all went well and that the new Doc was nice.

My next scan is next week wednesday, i cant wait to go now that Laliek got a gender prediction, I hope we do too.Im a bit worried about the downs test though ? does anyone know how they go about doing it ?

Going for my scan on Saturday, so that is ....4 more sleepies - Wow I can not wait.

Feeling beter this morning, I still drink my Vomifene regulary and try to eat regulary, just had some watermelon, but it does not make me full.

And I am so off water, it tastes horrible.
And don't worry I also gag everytime I brush my teeth - not nice.

Very envious of those almost done with MS..

We all good.. Have a house guest staying over and she is just so nice and easy going. Is an absolute pleasure having her over and Adam loves her.. Her name is Philicity and the 18mnth old version is so so so cute!! Girls, for those who are pregs for the 1st time, you'll see how cute they are at 18mnths when you get there.. Hard work and very busy but so worth it...

Cands, I am thinking of you so much today..Not even going to try and make it brighter cos its not easy. The only positive is if you feeling exhausted you can just climb into bed and read a book..
