My you are a chatty bunch hey!
Sorry I have been MIA - been reading all the posts though.
Welcome Kitty

enjoy your 2nd trimester
Ladies - This is my 3rd pregnancy and I am 8 wks now. I feel perfectly fine - no MS (thank goodness!!!). I never had it with my 2 previous pregnancies either so I am really relieved.
I am extremely tired though - and everyday I have to lie down for another 5 mins after I shower hehehhehe.
And I am lights out by 9pm!
I have also noticed that my feet are already very swollen, esp my ankles. This started at 5 wks already. DH and I have decided to wait on announcing the pregnancy so I try to wear long pants/skirts to work as much as possible to hide the puffiness.
When I weighed me the other day I haven't picked up any weight in kg's yet but I feel so bloated - my clothes are also not fitting me like they used to.
Someone asked the other day about what kind of work we do - I am a PA to the CEO at a Travel Company. So no major stresses here or anything.
I am seeing the gynae for the 1st scan on Wed - DH and I are so excited! I can't wait - hope all is well with LO.
Candi-I think we're both at Constantiaberg?? My gynae also only does the blood tests etc at 14 wks. Last time I wanted to go for faetal anomoly scan at Kingsbury and she told me (due to a healthy pregnancy first time round) that LO is growing nicely etc, blood tests were clear so she didn't feel that it was necessary. It was my choice at the end of the day but I felt confident enough to not have to go - besides at the time it was R800 - I am not sure what it costs now.
