Hi Hayley, you are lucky - your SIL is really nice She really made such an effort to check absolutely everything she could and give us as many different angles to view the baby from as possible even though it's so early... All very reassuring. And will definitely go back for the proper 3D/4D scans later on in the pregnancy!

Hi Candi - I went to Melanie to have a viability scan done. She charged R350...so cheaper than going to my gynae. Plus I got 2 Cd's...one with pics and the other a full recording of the whole scan. Really awasome. It was just a regular 2D scan but she did take one or 2 3D pics...but still not much to see yet Normally the 3D/4D scans are R550 but if you are going to a mediclinic you will recieve a R100 voucher towards a scan with Mel.

I have also only heard good things about Panorama...depends on where your gynae works though.

Man, working next to a test kitchen can't be a good thing right now! Shew...

I'm gonna look for a herbal hair dye. Cause this is terrible to walk around with these roots... LOL, i'm just a silly woman... Feeling miff and looking miff just isn't working for me, and here I'm thinking if I look a little better, I might feel a little better.

How much is it for scans at Peek-a-babe?

gosh, I'm also sitting with the thought of Durbanville vs Panorama... [but that's not a worry for now] A Thought for later...

Gosh, I work next to a test kitchen, and the smells are driving me insane, hardly sat at my desk today.

Well, I had my first scan this morning at Peek-a-Babe and all is looking good! Good heartbeat and measuring 7 weeks 3 days which is spot on

As for hair dye...luckily I stopped dying my hair a few years ago so don't need to worry about that. But I think there are possibly certain dyes that are ok...just need to research it. Otherwise you'll just have to learn to rock the dark roots for a while
