Candice...I'm also blonde by bottle...so I waited until I was 12weeks and did some highlights. Don't do a full colour, only highlight. Have you been to your dr yet for blood tests or was it only an HPT??

You can get Herbatint at health and nature shops. It contains no amoniac or any other harmful chemicals and it works just as good as any other dye.

It's safe to use during pregnancy and much gentler on hair than normal dye. I by mine at the fresh earth shop in Emmerentia in Jhb. Do a google search for the product

Candi, I asked my hairdresser and she said hairdye is a no no inthe 1st tri. I am naturally dark blonde, but i colour it very dark brown/black. I havent had it done for the last 4 months! So my hair is a total mess. I am also not sure whether i will have my hair coloured in the 2nd tri though. I know lots of people who have done it though and everything was fine. Each to their own i quess.

The nausea is terrible this morning and I want nothing more than to have a nap right now

Gosh, the nausea today is unbelievable, the smell of furniture polish is so bad I stood outside for about 20 minutes... [and that's at work]

I couldn't handle the smell of food this weekend. It was the pits! DH wanted to have a braai, and I was outside.

PreggiPops helps for 5 minutes and I'm only allowed 1 a day or per nausea? Urgh... and then every 15 minutes someone in the office will make something in the nuk and the smell lingers long time

I'm going to have a look see what I can find about the blue/pink stick at dischem... Cause I'm also very curious, was doing a few fun thing last night....

Gender guesses as per my engagement ring... took a piece of hair [strand] looped my ring, the dangled it over my belly... let it touch my belly for about a minute or 10 seconds [felt like a minute]... you've gotta keep still... that never happens with me...

ok, so after the 'stable' moment, then you lift it about a cm above your belly...

and if it swings.... back and forth.... it's a boy
if it circles around... it's a girl....

my one changed direction, and then went a bit hay wire... freaking stuff!

It was circling bigger than my belly botton [wide circle]

My sister-in-law says maybe maybe twin girls [eek and it's in the family... both sides] was good fun. DH thought i was insane... there's me - on my back - with my ring doing it's thing above my belly...

But will have a look see for serious about the gender test at diskem.

I had a look at my Dischem yesterday and there is no sign of any pink/blue test. Who is it made by? Perhaps I should do a Google search! Lol! Any news on the red cabbage test? I am dying to know how that turned out. I am only 6+1 so I will have to wait another 4 weeks before I can try it for myself!
