Fx that DH gets the promotion! And I hope your work lets you work less hours. I'm also going to just have to wait and see how things go next year...Ideally I'd just see a few clients a week and pretty much be a SAHM other than that. Would be so nice for finances not to be a concern but anyway....one does what one needs to do...

hee, thanks Happi. Yes, our kitchen is thankfully all finished. I am so happy with how it turned out. It's amazing how exciting some extra cupboard space can be when you live in a flat

I have also decided to paint the nursery afer all. I wasn't going to as it is already a blue clolour. But unfortunately that room doesn't get any direct sunlight and the blue is just too grey for a little boy I think. Needs something paler and a little more cheerful. So that is my next project Thankfully one can buy tester pots of paint so I can make sure I get the colour right this time...
