hapi - I had to Laugh, it is so cute. But yes I also do not like it we my DH adjust the seat and not put it back, but let me do it in his car then he has a huge fit about it.

The only thing I have to pack for my hospital bag is clothes for me and baby and my own toiletries. the rest we get at Genesis.
This is the list I got from them
Moms will need to bring:




clothing for yourself - a few loose tee-shirts to labour in are usually a good idea
a comfy bra, bikini or tank top for labouring in water
your toiletries - shampoo, facewash, toothbrush etc
for waterbirths, please bring along 5 large bath towels
clothes for your newborn
three blankets and a towel for baby
facecloths to use in labour
music (your room has a cd player) and candles if desired
some snacks and additional drinks
your camera and video camera - don't forget batteries and chargers!
cell phone chargers
a bag for dad with clothes, toiletries etc.

I am doign great, was so spoilt this weekend, my friend that does not want any kids have given me so much stuff for the room. Cot bedding and the bumper and breastfeeding cushion and the play doughnut thingie and a lovely rocking chair.

trust everyone had a great weekend.

I am happy to announce that I have started with the girls room. We got the wooden sleigh cot on Saturday evening and DH's cousin is starting with their chest of drawers. Im thoroughly excited. Im now looking around for a camp cot.

Laliek, I have not satrted with our bags yet but Im making it a special date for it this weekend. A friend has offered to carry some of those costs so we will be doing a walk-about in the malls this weekend. I went into toys r us and baby boom this past friday trying to see if I can get a bigger nappy bag but nothing. I would love to have a big one rather than having to buy two. If any of you ladies come across one please let me know.I will also check with baby city.

Anyway, the preggy monster came out this morning. DH used my car yesterday to run a few errands. Because he is a bit taller than me he re-adjusted everything (the seats, back-rest& the mirrors) and did not adjust it back. Did I not loose it this morning, telling him how inconsiderate he is and I started crying. he looked at me all confused and started laughing at me and gave me a big hug shame

Hapi actually I did!

I joined the Dishem moms and tots programme and received a baby bag with one or two things in and also received a baby bag from Dischem! I've bought the carriwell maternity pads (about 4 packs so far) and also the carriwell feeding bra's (2 of them) and carriwell disposable hospital panties. I know they do give you those at hospital but I bought extra just in case! So those, nappies and wipes are already packed - I just need to get pyjamas for hospital and then pack that and C's clothes and obviously toiletries then I'm done.

Planning on finalising the hospital bag by mid June for in case something happens earlier! Have you started yet?

Laliek, have you started with your and Baby C's hospital bags ?

3rd tri, wow Laliek ! my c-sec has been tentatively booked for the 01 August but doc said we will know for sure early July as by then he will be able to tell if my uterus will still be able to carry the babies. But as Skai said, they might just decide on an early grand entrance.

I also struggle to find a comfy sleeping position, and apparently it might just get worse from about 32 wks. But my consolation is the fact that the end is near !

Skai I think Hapi might be before me with the twins! So our first borns will be beautiful little baby girls!!! I'm just hoping Cameron hangs in there until 02 August (I'll be 38.5 weeks then), I have a VERY sneaky feeling he's going to be here before then but I really really don't hope so! He's currently in the breach position with his head up under my chest and feet downwards. Doc said he may not turn now as his space is getting a bit limited so I'm just hoping that the little man stays put until he's scheduled date

Your very lucky that you haven't been uncomfortable yet! I'm struggling during the day as well - unfortunately with auditing your in front of a PC the entire day and it gets difficult to sit still for so long, back is taking strain!! BUT only 8 weeks left of work whoooohooo!

I'm getting very panicky - was just telling the July girls I also started feeling a bit nervous about everything! I think it's probably natural!

Woohoo - 3rd trimester! That is an exciting milestone! And the 2nd of August is going to creep up on you so quickly How exciting! You will be the first to have your baba, hey? (unless any of these other LO's decide to make an early appearance...) Perfect way to celebrate your birthday too!

I haven't had any sleeping problems yet...luckily. I'm sure I will start to get uncomfortable as I get bigger but so far I'm ok...
