Been super busy lately, so haven't been posting anything, but been keeping up to date with everything, everyone's getting their babas, it's so exciting

Naz: Glad to hear your baby has turned

Mine has not turned, went for a scan yesterday and was told my blood pressure was high and had to go for a stress test. It returned to normal and so they let me go home, but my c-section has been booked for Tuesday. So from planning a home waterbirth to now having a c-section is quite a vast change. And I was told I can't go to work today

But otherwise, baba is healthy and she'll be here in a few days time

I had my check up yesterday, and I am happy to report that baby has turned!! hubby and I are over the moon - but the gynae was even more excited than us!
my blood pressure was a bit high, but she took it again after a little rest and it was better. Has asked me to keep an eye on it and if any concerns to pls come in.

Today is my last day at work.....as relieved as I am, I still have lots of work to clear on my desk! and everyone wants something!
I am gonna be so bored at home until LO makes his appearance:)

I am seeing my midwife again on Monday, so we will see how that goes

I am doing fine, I have just over 4 weeks left to work - can not wait. Have to get moving and finish packing my hospital bag.

Hope everyone is well - the new mommies and us few still waiting!

Any news from Hapi yet? Is daddy looking after the twins?

Naz, are you also going to Constantiaberg? I've only heard good things, so hoping it will be a good experience.

My side is going OK, I'm now 36w4d and really getting uncomfortable and tired. I'm still at work till next week Friday, really looking forward to finishing off now. I've found that my irritation levels are super high at the moment, and we sit in a completely open-plan office, which is not the greatest partner to these feelings of "just leave me alone!". I'm seeing my obgyn again on Monday - very curious to see how little one is growing. He thinks we're heading to a 4kg+ baby

Our antenatal course is coming to an end Saturday, and it has really been great. Compared to some others that I've heard about, the info that we've been getting is of such a high quality which I'm really glad about. I do not think anything can really prepare you, but at least, if you have the right info, that may be half the battle

Also have my hubby's 40th bday Friday, so starting tomorrow eve going out for dinner every evening till the eventual celebration Sat eve. I managed to talk him out of having a party at home (just cannot face so many people in my space and having to clean up and cater!), so we've booked a restaurant and invited just a few very close family and friends.
