Got a sms from hapi, she is doing great, taking it 1 step at a time, but she is feeling much better. the girls are growing well, kepping her busy, but she does not mind.

Hi Naz, birthday party is this Sunday - W is looking forward to it.
I have not received everything I need yet, will have to go do a big shop next week.

I am doing fine, still got about 3 weeks to work - luckily quite in the office

I will send Hapi an Sms now and see how she is doing

Tanasha - you sound like you';re reaaally enjoying being a mom - you and DH can do the deed if you feel up to it. I remember after my kids I couldn't even think of it as I felt "smaller" and my stitches were still a bit eina.

Skai - wow almost there hey hope bubs comes by next Thurs ok?

AFM - I am now officially on maternity leave and 38 weeks! I feel fine, just can't walk too long. i am enjoying my lie-ins in the mornings hehehhe and for most of the day just been hanging around at home if I don't need to do an errand. House is nearing completion, is just the final touches now - maybe we can still move in before LO arrives!

Hope everyone is doing well!

I had an appointment with my MW this morning. She did an internal. Cervix still closed but nice and soft so she doubts I'll need to be induced. Not likely bubs will arrive this weekend but everything looking set for natural birth

Have made an appointment with my back-up gynae for nxt thurs (will be 40 weeks 6 days) to make sure it's ok to go up to 10 days overdue before induction. So hopefully will go into labour before 1pm on Thursday! Keep fingers crossed

So, feeling good knowing things are actually 'happening' as they should and will now just relax and enjoy what will hopefully be the last weekend DH & I spend alone together for a while!

And your day today sounds PERFECT! Who could ask for more Housework can certainly wait! Hee...

Not sure how long one is supposed to wait...I know not everyone waits the full 6 weeks but maybe give your midwife or gynae a call to just make sure. I'm pretty sure as long as you're feeling up to it it's ok. I think most women can't even entertain the thought for ages though ha ha...

Tracey you are probably holding your LO already!

Skai the last few weeks seemed to drag by for me and now time is going way too fast! So enjoy the last few weeks. Treasure every little kick, cause soon you will just have a jelly belly!

Has anyone else popped yet?

Esmé is now weighing a whopping 3550gram, which is perfecta ccording to the growth charts and we can even switch to normal bottles now as she is drinking completely on her own! For the last 2 days she has even been able to suck on a dummy! It seems quite insignifigant, but we are very proud!

And she is sleeping so well at NIGHT- we got between 5 and 7 hours of sleep per night! But then during the day she is awake and refuses to sleep and only wants to be held, so I cant do anything. I have a sling, but she is still too tiny for it, so sometimes i just have to leave her to cry to get something done which is heartbreaking. But today it was so dark and rainy, I just left all the housework and we both stayed in our pjs all day cuddling in bed watching movies! Total bliss! and now DH is bringing take away for dinner and I quess we will just continue our evening on the couch!

Do any of you know how long after giving birth you can do the deed again? Do you have to wait till your 6 week check up? I have not been bleeding for a week now and my cut and tear look like they are healed completely - I only sometimes still feel it during a toiletvisit
