Hi Ladies,

I joined this thread a few weeks ago, but haven't posted in a long time.

I'm going in for a scan in two hours and I'm very excited. I see that most ladies on here have already been for a scan. I went a weel ago at 5 weeks, but all we saw was a sac. We're hoping to see more this time around. Will update you later.

Joey, I also can't wait to get the doppler. Dh agreed that I can get one after 14 weeks. I'm also just getting fat. I can't see a boep or yet, but I definitely feel bloated.

We are also thinking about the wildlife theme. Think it is so cute. We moving in to our new house in two weeks so really looking forward to getting the babys room set up. I found a really nice cot on friday but it is about R1000 more than most of them that i have see it has a old look to it. Also doing the neutral colours cos we are not finding out what we are having.

Are you finding out the sex or not??

Has anyone belly popped out. Mine is getting big but i think i just look really fat. And a bought a doolper aweek ago and it the coolest thing.

Sjoe where is everyone? So quiet in our little group.

Well I am a first time mommy-to-be so I have alot of things to learn etc..

But would like to know how you ladies did your baby room and how you cut costs?
We have a medium sized room but not too big or too small. The cupboards are like those wooden spanish ones. The room currently has carpets but we might tile (we really hate carpets-too hot in Richards Bay). We will also have to put in an aircon since the room gets alot of sun.
We really like a wildlife theme with giraffes, rhinos etc but I dont want to overdo it. Was thinking plain neutral curtains and just theme the accesories.

Let me know what you ladies did and maybe show some pics. Would be nice to see how everyone does it.

How is everyone feeling? The tiredness is still getting me and the heat here doesnt help either.
One more week til our 8 week scan. Can't wait. We have also decided to stick with our FS/gynae even though he is 2 hours away. Dh and I both feel very comfortable with him and we dont have reliable gynaes in Richards Bay.

Well i have 2 weeks to go before I go on leave for a month. Our wedding is on 30th April and we really cant wait. DH is spoiling me on our honeymoon. For the 1st week we go to Lake Naverone in Drakensburg where we got engaged, then wakkerstroom for a day, krugers park for another week and then Umfolozi Game reserve for another 4 days. But looking forward to the break really, i am really struggling to be at work at 5am everyday.

Jammer ek is so stil, maar die ms kry my onder!!! Ek haat dit om so te voel! Lyk my toe ek die 6 weke merk verbystreek toe tref dit my!!! Ek het net nog die ms gevoel, nog net 1 keer regtig gehardloop.

Verder voel ek ok, ek voel net skuldig want ek kann ie nou so baie saam met my seuntjie speel soos ek wil nie! Maar hy is te oulik! Hy verstaan as ek sleg voel en dan kom gee hy vir my 'n drukkie en 'n soentjie! Ek kan hom skoon opeet!

Joey - you've been good to keep quiet so long... I'm having a too big mouth and jip, I'm always touching my belly so I giving it away!!! Think I would have loved to just keep it secret for a bit, but anyways everyone knows now!!!

We only told our parents, Wait with everyone else. They are all shocked i kept my mouth shut for so long. But the all could not be happier.

I will post the pictures of the scans tonight when i get home.

Glad you Hgc levels are so high. Hope the MS does not get to bad. I was one of the very lucky ones i did not get any.

Congrats on the 12 week mark, Joey! Very awesome. Did you wait til now to tell everyone? How did they react? Please post some scan pics...I have to wait so long to see this little jelly tot - seeing yours will def help!

Finally went for bloods on Sunday. Count was very high - 18344 at 5 weeks 2 days. Little bit higher that it's supposed to be but it was the same with my LB. Nice to know everything is on track though.

MS has crept it's way in too. UG!!! Not looking forward to this at all!!!

We had our scan on thursday and it was awesome, Baby look great it 12weeks 3 days Due date is 3October.

We got to tell all our families they are all so happy for us.
