Hi all
Claire, I was out of it emotionally the first few days that I didn't realize Sion would be awake for 3 hours at a time. When my husband left on Monday, I realized I'll have to do something to be able to cope. I just remembered what an amazingly easy baby Nienke was and I did exactly the same with him than with her. I started putting him on a three hour feeding schedule (give or take, i'd never let him go hungry. Also, he had a growth spurt this weekend and my boobs are finished!

I can't keep up. Every hour or so...), I then started taking him to dark room after about 45 minutes awake, wrapped him, put on the Majors for Minors sleep sense CD and rocked him till his eyes wanted to close and then put him down. I still have to go in quite a few times, because he spits out the dummy and then gets majorly upset. I also started bathing hiim at night. So bathtime, it's bath, bed, boob whilst CD playing. Nienke then also baths, bottle, bed.
It's really worked well so far. Apart from this weekend. But I wake him at about 10:30 for a quick feed, he then sleeps till about 2am, then till 5am and then till 7am. I wish I can get him to skip the 5am feed! But ja, it will come, I suppose. At least I'm getting some sleep in. I also give him telement drops after his bath as a precautionary measure.
So sorry to hear she has cramps! I'm sure it will get better! Colic only starts at 2 weeks, so it can't be colic.

Yes, the chiro is sure to help. Although I couldn't really see a difference in Sion's mood afterwards. Wish they could tell us what was wrong when the cry!
Glad to hear Colby is such a star.
Hallo Liz! Dankie vir die inloer! Laai Opera Mini op jou selfoon, dan kan jy met ons chat! Ek stem saam met Skitter oor die voeding.
Skitter, jy gaan die ander kids daar so geniet. Dink net hoeveel ekstra hande dit beteken.

Jy is amazing hoor, ek weet nie hoe jy dit alles so alleen doen nie. Elrike ook!
Lindy, hoe gaan dit by die huis?
I have some work to finish. Really hope this is all before the end the year. I need a break!
