Lindy! Yes I'm A- . I had my first injection with my last visist at the doctor @ 28 weeks. I think I might get another one on Wednesday! Not sure. Will update you! It is better to get the injections beforehand. Just to be safe!!

Thanks Lizel. Was it Zelri that did not grow? I am sure he is just being thorough. I am still freaking out about doing natural birth people are scaring me saying that it will never ever be the same again they say that you wont be able to control your bladder etc.... I don't know what to believe anymore. Sometimes I think they are just jealous because they didn't have the guts to go through with natural but then I don't really wanna try just to prove a point?!?!?!

Also there was somebody on here that also have the blood type O- (RH - neg) Elrike was that you? I am going to just check with my doc but aren't we due to have the Anti-D injection? I am almost sure the doc said I might need it during the third trimester? I really don't wanna take any risks at all now...it would really kill me if I had to loose this little smurf now I have come to far now, and I really can not go through that again!

I am feeling much better than last week though my tummy seems to have settled down a little still cramping a little but not much at all. I am going to have one heck of a week as we are moving offices this week but anyhoo only 5 weeks of work left whoooooHooo!!!!

Lindy, dont worry I think your dr is just making sure everything is 100%. I am going to dr every 2 weeks now, I think the last trimester is scary, cause baby can come early or not, so dr makes extra sure. Like my LG did not pick up weight for 3 weeks and dr told me if she does not pick up we will have to take her out cause my body is not feeding her anymore

Zelri still has fever at least 3 times a day took her to dr again so will see. Baby doing great she is lazy only moves every no and then. Got the bottles at Edgards Only need a few stuff but still have to paint the cot, rocking chair and compact

We South-Africans will think ofany excuse to braai!

NO real complaints on my side. Just sooooo tired! Doesnt matter how much I sleep, I can't
keep my eyes open!

Elrike - Yay on the name change! It is still a beautiful name, and now you have some time to get used
to it.

Last week was probably the most "fertile" week of the year! We heard about 4 couples in our family and
of our friends, that have found out that they are pregnant! So with all the blossoms and flowers of Spring,
came some really good news!

Lindy - I agree, it is so exciting, waiting to see who "pops" first!

Hey Skitterling shoe so it truly will be any day now!! You, Joey and Longansmom are running a marathon here.

AFU - We also saw the doc today he says everything is looking fine and baby is weighing in at 1.1kg!! yay we made the 1kg!! Tell me please has any of you gynie's ever listened to the "flow" of the amniotic fluid through the umbilical cord?? My doc did that today for quit some time and it worried me a bit he also payed allot of attention to the abdominal area and measured it quite a few times? Is that normal?

Hello everyone

Sorry I have been away. Trying to get all my work done before I go on maternity leave next week. Woohoo. I cant wait just to rest a bit. When are you ladies going?

I'll try to catch up on what happened on here and do some personals later. Just wanted to let you all know that we are still hanging in there. Doctor says its still my choice of birth but she is big (estimated 3.4kg on Monday) and she is posterior (face up).

We are healthy and just waiting for it to happen now.

We are afrikaans and speak it at home, but living in another country where everyone and everything is english we are raising the kids in both languages. The schools here have three compulsory languages too, so im going to have a fun time learning

Deja, congrats on the freelance and I wish you all the best in your new venture.

AFU, doing well, went to the doc yesterday and baby is doing good, in right position and dropping fast. So any day now for us. Also have been having a lot of contractions, was up the other night for two hours with them 10min apart, but they slowed down after the two hours. Same today, it comes for an hour and then gone again....boo.

Baby has this move he makes where he moves only his foot around my belly and it looks seriously weird. Only a bump moving, lol and hubby saw it for the first time and just could not believe his eyes. Was super funny
