Glad this thread is busy today. How is everyone?

Gosh its hot here in North KZN. I hate the heat. I am starting to feel really sorry for Michael having to be small during our hottest months shame.

Thanks for the compliments ladies. Michael definitely is a charmer already. He has his dads habit of sitting with his hand under his chin. Too cute.

About the bump, nee ah its not that small LOL. I tease hubby, my ass is huge so I told him "who needs those brazillian ladies when you can have a pregnant wife with the big ass"LOL.

Sjoe 36 weeks does sound early for a csec. Maybe this gynae is going on holiday around her due date and wanted to do the csec before going away. Very sad.

Ah Lindy I saw ads of those seminars. Wish we had them here in richards bay. They look so informative. But I hear you on fearing that your vjay might never look the same. I think any preg lady thinks about that. LOL I just said to hubby, if his son tears me then he must pay for my vjay nip and tuck later in life lol But you are right, it is a myth actually. You will see they tell you to take coarse sea salt to hospital. You bath in this after the birth and this also helps to heal everything back to normal. I also heard those gel pads that you put in your panty after birth helps with the swelling and healing.

I must admit I couldnt bring myself to pay a fortune for the maternity clothes. here in Richards Bay you dont get any maternity clothes under R400. I just got 3 summer dresses made for R450 in total and they all have straps that come undone so I can use them for breastfeeding too. One of them I wore in my pic I attached. Much cooler.

I am also starting to swell. My fingers swell and my feet. And I find the back ache so painful lately. Luckily my hubby is so sweet, lately whenever I say its eina he grabs the cream and gives me a good rub. Shame God Bless him.

I am starting to get a little nervous. Gynae wants to remove my stitch at 36 weeks. And after googling, most ladies either went into labour straight after having the stitch removed or 1-2weeks later. And like in my case, I was 3cm dilated at 20 weeks so when the stitch gets removed then I go back to being 3cm dilated. So to think that in 6 weeks I could be meeting Michael. Too precious. Luckily I am taking steroid injections so if he comes early I will be ok.

Lindy - Enjoy your antenatal classes. We are giving it a miss this time, sure I will be able to remember everything, regarding babies...

Tanz - glad everything is also well on your side! Seems the boys are busy! Weiss is also kicking like crazy...

Lizel - Re the c-sec @36 weeks... I personnally feel it is quite early! DH cousin's wife had a c-sec at 36 weeks, and the babies lungs were not fully developed. Her doctor just wanted to do the c-sec, but there was nothing wrong - she could have waited till 38 or 39 weeks. My doctor also does c-secs at 39 weeks.

I'm currently busy finishing the curtains and the room for Weiss. I made the duvet/quilt this weekend and are busy to make a pillow with his name on it. Will take photo's as soon as it is all finished! Think I should start packing my hospital bag... I get the feeling Weiss will come sooner than I think... Trust he will stay inside till the end of October at least!! LOL

Lindy, nope nothing wrong with her she is only 16 weeks pregnant now. But dr told her he does it on 36 weeks. If I stand for long periods my feet will start to swell and then my shoes get uncomfy

Lizel I do think that is very early?? Why did he say so early? Does she have high blood pressure or something else wrong? or is it a elective C section? I think baby's lungs is only in good working order by 38 weeks. Not sure about that though.

Ladies are any of you experiencing any swelling? My feet and hands are swelling allot since last week.

Tanz, sounds like your LB is a busy one The other day one of hubbies friends wife said I am getting big I told her of course I am where must the baby grow. But I really wanted to tell her she must look in the mirror her poor pants are being eaten by her ass!

I just want to know what you ladies think of this, my DH cousin's dr want to do her c-section on 36 weeks is that not to early? I think it is cause my dr does it on 39 weeks

So last night I thought I could kill my hubby for making what he thought was an innocent
joke! These days, everyone makes fun of me because of my size...
We were joking around in the kitchen and he says "Spoeg uit jou maatjie, maar nog nie nou nie",
and he starts laughing!
Now I also thought this was funny because of the way he said it, but later on I
thought: "Ag jou mielie man"! Hormones! haha!

We are doing very well! Boeta is kicking up a storm and starting to do so with quite the personality! When
I tap on my belly, he taps back! haha! so cute!

Liz - So sad that you won't be able to go for your 4D, it is so worth it! It gave me the strangest feelings!
I sometimes wonder, how I could love someone I havent met yet!
