Hi girls
Sorry I've been totally AWOL, been a hectic few weeks and it's not slowing down. Tummy is growing and baby boy is sooo busy. Luckily he sleeps at night.
I am completely on my flat shoes now, too uncomfortable to walk in high heels. Still no real aches and pains, thank goodness. I really want to start walking or cycling at the gym but hubby leaves for work too early. Will have to gym REAL HARD to get rid of the cellulite on my thighs.
I am attaching pic of tummy.
Lindy, glad you are enjoying the classes and are going to try for natural! I promise you, all returns to normal again. I had natural birth without an epidural AND was cut and apart from labour surges being quite strong (hmmm... you can read my previous birth story but really, I think I was exaggerating. I am looking forward to giving birth again!), it all went well. I got up half an hour later and was FINE.
I have resigned and will be working from home next year. VERY excited!
Gracious, I'll be claiming UIF, since I am resigning and won't be getting maternity leave pay. If I take maternity leave with my company, I have to go back for four months and I'm not prepared to do that.
Lizel, ek dink jy kan ook UIF claim.
Tanz, about your TMI questions-yes, sometimes. I love your pics and your belly!

Chanz, last time I refused to pack a hospital bag, because I thought I'd jinx it and wanted baby to come at 38 weeks. So she then DID come at 38 weeks and my bag was not READY. It was a pain, because I didn't have anything ready. Hubby had to bring everything. So I'd suggest: a charged camera, clothing to go home in (your stomach is still big and flabby so not something that will cling to your body), pads, baby clothing and diapers, hairdryer, make-up, sjampoo and conditioner etc. That's basically all.
Love the pics!
Liz, I am also not going for a 4D this time and haven't really seen baby's face so far. It costs R900 here and that's just too expensive.
Lizel, seriously, I'd slap that MIL of yours!
Skitter, I also have hectic heartburn but I find if I snack on salted nuts and dried mango's during the day, it doesn't come back. Where are you going to give birth now? I'm also def. giving birth without pain meds. Want to go home directly after.
Tummy @ 29 weeks, 5 days:
Scanpic of baby boy @ 28 weeks, weighing 1.2kg's. The umbilical cord is in front of his face, so can't see clearly.
I'm posting this quickly and then reading a few more pages back...
