Hope you are all well? Sorry I have been so quiet lately, been hectic at work!

So I am experiencing some new things these last few days! Hoping some of you can relate... The last few nights I have noticed that there are "taai kolle" on my PJ shirts. So I never understood it. This morning when I woke up, there was a new one, and it was wet... do you think I am leaking colostrum (or whatever you call it)? Also since yesterday it feels like someone has given me a "lammie" on my left breast!

How have you all been doing?

My best friend gave birth last week to the most beautiful little boy! As ek nie swanger was nie, het ek dit oorweeg om hom te steel!!! My hubby is so funny! Gister vra hy vir my "Gaan ons kind ook so stadig wees?" Ek vra toe "hoe stadig?". Nee sê hy, CJ-hulle se baba is al 'n week oud en hy lê net daar"... haha!!! Hyt seker gedink die kind moet ten minste al kruip of iets! Hy was onder die indruk dat baba's sommer so oulik en spelerig gebore word!

Lizel, foeitog man, jy't omtrent 'n vakansie nodig na jou naweek! Bly julle het die kar darem teruggekry, dit gebeur nie aldag nie. Ai tog, hoop Zelri voel gou-gou beter sodat Mamma ook darem kan rus kry. Hoekom voel mens altyd so sleg as jou ouers vir jou vies is sonder dat jy weet waarvoor??!!!

Deja, 9 kg's is nog niks!!! Wens dit was ek!! Ek het al 16kg opgetel!!! Ek voel vreeslik ongemaklik, al my broeke sit nou super-styf. My boude groei vinniger as my maag!!!!

Hi 1st time Mommy, Lindy, Skitter, Gracious and all those I've missed now!

I went to Mr Price in Canal Walk, I know they stock maternity clothes. But I was so disgusted. Why do all maternity pants have "rekke" at the bottom of the legs? Only stick thin people looks good in it.... And they only have to size 40, and with my big bum and thighs, a size 40 fits too snug. Where can one get bigger, cheap comfortable maternity clothes???

Claire, I know about the lying on my back. but sjoe, I was maybe lying for 3 minutes or so... But, I think it could also be the cause. Luckily I know now, that I must rather shower!!! Just glad, I didn't get hurt in the process!

It is freezing in the West Rand - Leon said it started snowing on the way from Soweto, but I think the snow will melt as soon as it reaches the ground! It was raining and we had some hael!

Luwan just wants to blow bubbles..... I will get bankrupt of all the bubbles I need to buy! LOL

Hello ladies,

Just finished cleaning the house, so taking some well deserved "me" time. Had a hectic weekend. Ate something bad and got food poisoning. Still can't figure out what I ate though. Lost a kg from being so sick. Not fun. Was so worried about the baba. Fortunately I could feel little Milo moving all the time. All I could keep down was coke...hope I don't have a hyper-active baby as punishment! Feeling much better today. Finally able to have some real food.

Is anyone else beginning to panic about the new baby that's about to arrive in our lives? I feel so unprepared this time around. I don't know why. I mean, we really only have a few things we need to buy and a few things that need to be organised. Maybe I'll feel better once it's all done? Who knows.

Shame Lizel! I hope Z is feeling better. I would have taken the day off if I were you. Call it a mental health day! Glad you got your vehicle back. Would have been a pain if you didn't. Not a nice feeling though.

Elrike - that is scary fainting! Esp in the bath! Glad no-one got hurt though. I also read that lying on your back can restrict blood flow which can cause you to faint. We only supposed to lie on our back a few minutes at a time. Might have been that too?

Lindy - we have had so much hail! My LB was running around in it but it is freezing. Enjoy the rain! I love that all the dust is going to be gone after!

1st time - Have you tried taking an omega 3 oil for the itchiness? I found it was the only thing that helped me. The creams and oils you rub on only help the upper skin layers. You have to feed the skin from inside to keep it moisturized. Also make sure you're drinking loads of water. That's what helped me and my skin was so itchy I wanted to die!
