Hi Tanasha,
I am sorry that you have to go through this. Had a scare as well when I was pregnant with K so I know the level of stress you must be experiencing is phenomenal.
K's results came back as high for spin bifida. The gynae checked on his machine and his machine is a bit old and he said it looked like K had Open spina Bifida which meant her spine would be out in the open when she is born. He sat down with us and went through a pre-counselling and told us that if K does have it there is a high chance that she would be paralysed and one of the options was termination if everything gets confirmed by the fetal specialist.
Anyways, we had to wait 1 whole week before we got an appointment and it was the worst week of my whole life. Eventually we had a scan again at the fetal assessment clinic and all was well with my baby girl. she was just perfect. I hope you have the same luck as I had and everything is fine.
Just to let you know, even when I was faced with this predicament, my decision was to keep the baby.
We named her Kamilah which means the perfect One soon after that scan that gave us the good news
