Hi Tanasha
I am very sorry to hear and I hope in time you will come to terms with it and see it as a blessing then a disability
I am also a mommy 1 out of a 1000, my twin boys where born with clubfeet on the 29 November 2010 we only found out at birth and all I can say that medicine has inproofed so much that we are actually shocked at what they can do for little ones
My boys had there first op on saturday the 12 March and yes it scary but you know they can fix it and that is what I am greatful for and I believe they will be able to fix your lo's cleftlip as well, my night nanny has a cleft lip too but I promise you you can only see the scar her lip looks so normal
My boys are going for there next op on wednesday the 23 March for there second op to remove the stiches and manipulate the pins in there feet and to recast there legs then on the 20 April we go back again for another manipulation then on the 20th may the cast come of and hopefully all will be well, then when they turn a year the doc evaluates them again when they walk to see if another op will be needed
I thank God everyday that I have a disability that can be rectified with operations my two boys are healthy eating well yes everyday is a challenge but I take it with a smile cause I waited for them for so long
Strongs girl and with God on our side we have nothing to worry about
