Welcome JJ, Adele and Barbara - wow, our group is growing quickly
@mybrat - you are SO lucky you are not having ms. I read that it was genetic and my mom and my grandmother had terrible ms too (I blame her for the hell I'm going through now - I just hope that my children will inherit my MIL's genes as she told me this morning that she didn't get any ms ever).
@Stacey - I feel sorry for you too. Maybe coz I feel sorry for myself as well, lol.
Ladies who eat - please forgive me for skipping over your food posts, I might miss some other info but I just cannot handle food talk at this stage (although I am still hungry - I DREAM of food!)
2kmm, we initially told just my parents and brothers and my in-laws and asked everybody not to say anything until at least 8 weeks when my first appointment was scheduled (you'll remember, I haven't even done bloods yet as they don't do them early here). My in-laws were just too excited though and the VERY NEXT DAY we started getting emails from my extended in-law family congratulating us. I was just getting more and more irritated - we had specifically asked them not to say anything yet and also, did they not think that we would want to announce that we're expecting our first child (as opposed to them announcing their 5th grandchild)? But now I've just given up and have started telling my close family and friends because I don't want them to hear it from other people. But I think we'll wait a bit before doing a facebook announcement. I'm not saying anything to anyone on campus yet though, I think I might just wait until I'm showing.
