Hello ladies!

So I have been off work since tuesday with terrible flu! Have also been feeling so light headed, which my gyne said is prob my blood pressure - nothing to worry about, must just add salt to my food.
Must say, been "fun" having flu and ms -

So went for my gyne check up today. Thought I was 10 weeks, but turns out Im only 9 weeks 5 days. so my now EDD is 26 May. We havent told anyone other than our parents, siblings, my boss and collegue. So was hoping I could spill the beans in 2 weeks, but now I have to wait another week....sigh, hehe. AND an extra week (hopefully only 1 week) of MS

Bean is doing great, gosh didnt stop "jumpoing around" all is on track and was so exciting to see "it" makes everything seem so much more real :)

How are you all doing? so glad tomorrow is Friday!

Are you guys hoping for a LB or LG? To be honest I would love a LG, coz I have a gorgeous baby boy, but if I have another angel like my LB who is healthy, I also wouldnt complain.

lots of love.
xxx

Hi AdeleF

How far must you drive to get to work if you have to get up at 4.30? I thought having to get up at 6am was hectic.

I am also bloated and started being quite constipated over the weekend and it hasn't really le tup yet. I am not taking a calcium supplement yet which sometimes has iron in which constipates me so mine is purely hormonal. But if you are taking a calcium supplement check if its got iron in and try get a different kind that has Chelated Iron. Also your Vitamin may have a high iron content. I might find my tummy gets better when I switch from the Preganacare to the centrum.

I havn't started retaining water yet but I do have a tendency towards it. I really swelled up with my daughter but did much better with my Son. Half my reason was that I ate lots of salty things and didn't really drink enuoght water or do any excercise.

Hope everyone still have a fabulous week!

My dd is a bit siekerig, so daddy felt very sorry for her and now they have a mini holiday at home. I am so jealous! I'm the only one that has to wake up at 4:30 and come back at 6pm :S

On the plus side, they are doing some serious father daughter bonding time which is great :woohoo:

Me, I am bloated and constipated. A lot :( And still tired  What's up with that?? No MS really, just a type of misluk feelling. Oi, and water retention, already, really. Anybody else strugling with this?

Got myself weighed today :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: Really got to be careful what I stuff myself with, otherwise it will not only be my feet that is the size of an elephant ;)

To all the ladies that have bad MS. This one is for you. I got given Vomifene when I first started feeling the MS come along. It hit me bad over the weekend and Its well in the swing of things. Only thing is the Vomifene really doesn't work well this time again like with my son and I really don't want to take these pills everyday. The Ginger trick works ok but that involves making Rooibos tea and I don't always feel like drinking tea. Anyhow I went to the health shop and asked for magen drops but they didn't have any so they gave me an alternative by Pegasus called n.v.d 30c and it really does what they say it will. even just after one dose it really made me feel much better so that i could actually eat. It's very safe so you can use it very often through day like every 20 mins or less frequently if needs be. It's about R80 but I personally can recommend it.

Hope everyone else is doing ok. I am having the worst back pain since last night. When I lie down it does get a bit better but when I am up again, it gets worse. Is this normal and has any other of you ladies experienced this? I am 6w5d today and I can't wait to go for my first scan on 8 weeks.

@ Ronel

I also get back pain quite often. It's lower back pain usually to one side just above my bum. It's quite painful.
