Hi Ladies

Geez, feels like forever since i came on Moomie. Have to admit for along time I didn't want to, just didn't feel welcome.

Anyway Just to let you know Mila was born 28 May a beautiful 3.2Kilo's at 39 weeks and latched like a champ. Birth was perfect and so is my baby... no defects from the CS lol!!

She is going to be 6 months on the 28th and weighs about 8kg's now. She is loving solid food, rolling over, sitting and has cut two teeth and busy cutting the top two as well.

I have stayed in contact with a few of you so you will know all this but thought I would just share a little. Michelle1975 who also chatted here is also doing well and has her little darling Ella Gracie and she is just the sweetest little beauty.

I hope all the Moms are enjoying their Babies and that for the 1st time Mums Motherhood has been what you expected and more.

Hi Adele, I'm still around... Rebecca is a happy little girl, 6 months old already and weighed 9.4kg at her 6 month check up at the clinic last week. I am very blessed with her- her sister was was the screamer and non-sleeper, but Becca is just one of those dream babies that makes you think "what's so hard about this? I could have another one right now"  She's eating well- rice cereal, maize cereal, carrot, butternut, banana and her favourite is yoghurt- she complains when the little tub is finished! Breastfeeding came to a slow end over the last couple of weeks- I would offer her breast in the morning when she woke up but she started refusing, I miss it but I'm just happy I got in 6 months of breast feeding. She is on the S26 stage 2 formula now and no problems and she's averaging about 8 hours of sleep a night.

And the Mommies?

Josh is doing fine now. He is such a happy baby. No signs left from that first 3 months..

He had a bout of diarrea, but after we changed to lactose free formula, it has been going great and baby is once more sleeping through!

Yay, because this Mommy knows, I mean really knows exhaustion!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm back finally. I logged myself out and was only able to retrieve my password at work, which I started again at today

Joshua was born on his daddy's birthday on the 12th of June, weighing in at 3.45kg. I will post some pictures later this week.

It has been a total different experience from his sister, and wow totally different personality.

I got myself a screamer! Thankfully, the crying has been gradually going down the last couple of weeks and he is actually now becoming incredibly cute. A month ago, I was losing my mind and couldn't wait to get back to work, now I just want to be home. Funny how it works.

I think he is going to be another busy child though. He does not like lying down. He lifts his head and shoulders up, trying to come up and gets very frustrated when he is not able to!!

I am very lucky to have a very hands on husband, who is totally smitten with his baby boy and helps out a lot! Josh is actually lots calmer with daddy than with mommy. Sometimes I only feel like the Aunty that stands up in the night

Little hard to be back at work. I think this is going to be a crazy couple of weeks, but hopefully we will settle down in a routine soon.

Anyway, let me get back to work. Time is ticking and I have a lot of catching up to do.

Hi there... my gosh, is everyone still on maternity leave???

Rebecca is growing day by day and starting to develop a real little personality. And she's been sleeping through from about 9pm to 5am for about a month now  She's also on rice cereal three times a day- just a teaspoon each time mixed with her formula, but we still have a special little breastfeed when she wakes up at 5am... it's our special time together. And her nanny Janet is brilliantly awesome, so glad I made the decision to go that way rather than school. I've got two friends with baby's a few months older than Rebecca- the 11 month old caught TB from another child at school and the 8 month old is on her 10th course of antibiotics because she keeps getting flu/bronchitis/pneunomia!!
