June/July 2012 Moomies

Hi Ladies

Had my appointment this morning and looks like another team Pink for us altho DR didnt seem too sure. I'm so glad I kept most of my LG's clothes etc. I was hoping for team blue but I have 2 sisters who I share such a close bond with so I am glad that my daughters will have that same experience. Other wise all seems fine. Baby weighs 700g and is already in the head down position. I feel so blessed as this has been such a smooth pregnancy so far. I am 25 weeks now. Have any of u been getting Braxton Hicks contractions? I have been experiencing quite alot but DR said its quite normal especially if its your 2nd pregnancy.

Welcome Mich1227 - Is this your 1st pregnancy and do u know what u having yet?

Mom2B-July - I wouldnt worry about the weight gain as I guess it varies with all women. I have put on 9KG so far and like you its all in the tummy so I guess thats ok.

Ive been looking for a site where i can get into contact with other South African "moomies"

I'm now 33 weeks and due on the 02nd July 2012 and getting a bit nervous and excited at the same time.

Everything is going well except for heartburn and restless nights.

How are all you other mommies out there doing?

Berry - wow well congrats on the LB and lucky you went neutral colours we have kind of done the same with stone green and blue as our colour theme and taddy teddies on anything i can get my hands on!!

Adele - I am also suffering with the sleeping I have always had a bit of insomnia and small bladder so now it is 10 times worse and my hips are now starting to burn at night so toss and turn all night.

Lola- Hope your next scan reveals the sex of the baby fingers crossed for you! Also hope this LO stays put until the due date!!

AFM: I dont know how you ladies have put on such a small amount of weight my scale says i have put on 14kg now but the only thing growing is my tummy I dont look overweight or anything!

Congrats on all the team blues!
I am 24 weeks along now and still dont know which team. My next appointment is next Fri so hoping we finally get to find out. I bought a white baby grow from woolies and a pack of nappies last week. I have also put on about 8Kg so far. For my LG I put on 10Kg in my whole pregnancy but I am so petite I dont mind the extra weight besides I have been eating non stop during this pregnancy. Also get tired so easily but have been trying to excericise and keep fit.
My Lg was born at 35 weeks and had to stay 5 nites in NICU so I am praying this baby does not come early too.
Really hoping this thread picks up a bit. Would be great to share the rest of our pregnancy.

Good to hear everything is going well with baba, my LO have also been head down for about a month now. Wonder if it is a boy thing

I am also getting really uncomfortable now. Sleeping is also a bit more challenging with the loo runs and eina body!

Hi Girls,

Had our 30 week and 4 days scan today. Was very surprised when the Dr announced that it's def a boy & not a girl. We already had her name picked etc, now the name search starts all over again

So far I've only bought one pink baby grow & a pair of leopard print boots lol & the nursery is white & beige. So that's kewl

Baby weighs 1.5kg's & I've picked up a total of 8kg. Can't wait for this little one's arrival anymore! Been really uncomfortable lately, getting a lot of leg cramps & have backache daily. Oh & hello heartburn!

Otherwise everything is going great - baby is lying head down

Hey Berry, so glad all was well at your appointment my 26 week 4D scan is in 2 weeks time I can't wait!!

Your bump is lovely you look so pregnant I still feel weird seeing my bump in the mirror and always just stand there staring at it!! This is my 23 week bump pic
