Pity you have to wait so long until your next appt. I asked my doc if I could rather come back in 2 weeks. I would prefer to go every 2 weeks for the first trimester. Put my mind at rest, I think he will be accommodating.

Definitely once baby is here she'll be fine. I have mentioned it to my monkey and he is excited. He wants a baby sister....here is hoping he gets what he wants.

BB, So awesome that you gonna get the chance to meet the Cake Boss. I love his shows & use to watch it every single day but don't get the chance anymore. He is really good!
You must enjoy your weekend away..........sounds blissful. As far as I know, you need to make sure the therapist is qualified in pregnancy massage cause they are not allowed to use certain oils on you & there are special techniques in giving a massage. I know alot of spas prefer not to give those massages in the 1st trimester. The mineral pools are also not recommended. The heat & stimulation is not good but you can double check on that.

Isha, Still spotting, that sucks but as long as you & baby are ok.

AFM, gynae appointment went well. I'm 6w 3d. We got to see "little bean" hehe & heard the heartbeat, which was awesome. I need to go back in 5 weeks, yes 5, not 4 as I have to be 11 weeks for the down syndrome test where he measures the skin in the neck fold. So, I've got a long wait ahead but it will be worth it. Going back on the 30th of May. I told my daughter last night, she wasn't happy at first. She wanted to cry but it was understandable. She is a very clingy child & I mean she gets alot of attention but I'm sure she will be fine once baby is here. All children are a bit nervous. She did kiss my stomach later that evening

WOW Boomboom, that is fantastic. i didnt even know he is coming, Im gonna have to get me tickets. I also love baking, dont do it so much anymore. i even studies food and nutrition. But guess where i am now, Sanlam LOL. Not much work for muslim women in the food industry.
I wish i was you to go away this weekend. But i have to stay close to home till ay i have no idea when.

AFM: still have some spotting, taking my progestrone, but it makes me super drowsy. Or maybe thats just the pregnancy. Was a plus to get see my LO bean earlier than scheduled. but now i have to hold out till 14 May. Will be 12w4d then. Not sure if i will be able to cope. But it will be the best to wait till then. Blood works came back from doctor. my counts are good.
My LG says she going to be a sitter (sister), kisses my flab tummy every so often.
Im starting to get excited about being pregnant again, but i will have to take it very very slowly.

i will scan a pic of my lil bean in maybe tomorrow. If my puddingbrain (coz pudding is so much better than porridge LOL) remembers to bring it

Guess what Ladies?I have made me an appointment for this week. Not at the gynae but at a maternity home just for a scan and to make sure everything is ok. We are going away for the long weekend to Caledon Spa and I absolutely love the mineral pools and need to make sure its safe to be going into these pools and also want to know about having a massage, so going in to make sure all is ok and thumbs up for the pools and massages!I truly hope they say its ok!I should be about 10 weeks now so I too will also be seeing a little blob...LOL

Another bit of exciting news!I do baking, I use to do it full time but now that Im working at an office job Im doing it part time...So it interests me alot and a VERY good friend of mine, has bought us VIP tickets to attend a demonstration for the good food and wine show to see Buddy Valastro, if you not sure who he is, google him, his the cake boss!Im so excited as this would be a great opportunity for me, I watch his shows whenever I can and am so excited!So good to have such good friends in your life!

Oh and Naaz, I dont think you should tell your Boss yet, tell him when you have completed your 1st trimester, just wear loose fitting clothes. Its your choice when to tell him, and if he moans about why you didnt tell him before you say you didnt want to say anything before 3 months coz in the first 3 months anything can happen.

How are you all doing today?

My appointment was fantastic. I have a 6w2d old blob Heard the heartbeat, it was amazing. I get to see the doc again in 2 weeks time (he wanted to see me in 4 and I was like nah, how about 2 weeks instead.) Cannot wait. The next 2 weeks should fly by as I have to finalise my son's bday party.

So everyone, meet my blob

Naaz, Welcome & may you have a healthy pregnancy. I personally prefer to go for a scan as early as possible to see that the baby is growing & that there is a heartbeat. I'm just very impatient & will never be able to hold out that long hehehehe
As for telling your boss, it's a difficult one. You have the right not tell until after your 1st trimester. It's very difficult cause you are on a contract but the reality is, even if the renew it now & you tell them afterwards,,,,,they can still go ahead & not renew it the next time it's due............very hard on you but I hope all works out for you.
Cramping is normal in the 1st few weeks, it's the uterus stretching & so on. Just keep an eye out for blood/spotting & water leaking out.

babyzee, live in nanny is definitely a bonus. Now I understand why you can pass out so early

AFM, not feeling too great since yesterday. Very difficult to explain. I'm just feeling bleh!!!!! Don't wanna run to the loo or anything. My throat is on fire, got an irritating cough going on. Got my appointment later today. A bit nervous but also very excited. Will let everyone know how it went.......

Also looking forward to the long weekend. We are going away for a week with one of friends & can't wait to get away!!!!!!! Going to Scottsburgh woohoo
