Boomboom, glad all was well with the scan. Did your daughter go with? If she did what did she say?
May i ask how much did they charge for the scan, I cant wait to see the gynae. Just checking cheaper options to view baba before gynae visit.

AFM: was my bday yesterday so i took the day off, so i had an extra long long weekend. But MS kicked in yesterday full blast. Smell of any savoury dish made me run. But i cant stomach sweet things either. So i just stayed in my pj's having dry toast LOL.

New gynae visit 14 May. 11 more days to go. GEEEEZ

Everyone is so quiet!!Hope all had a good weekend!

Well my daughter started school today and I am so excited to fetch her after 1pm to hear how her first day went!

So Thursday I went for my first scan and could actually see a formed baby and not just a spot!Baby was 10w5 days, so I am now 11 weeks this week and on Saturday will be 12weeks, going into my 2nd trimester, so excited!Baby's due date is 17 November 2012.

The weekend at Caledon Spa was great, weather was good and the hotsprings was amazing!Also had a pregnancy massage and it was amazing, they knew just where to press!!Wish it didnt have to end!

Well I shouldve been off already but ya Im still here waiting for my lift!I have an appointment at 5pm for my first scan, should be about 8 -10 weeks will be confirming that later...

I wont be online for the weekend, going to be enjoying the weekend at Caledon Spa!

so glad i got on this blog... its really been supportive to know that there are women out there that also have the same feelings and emotions out there and can relate to instances...

so i have decided i'm not telling my boss yet, have been to a gp yesterday - first time ever so i didnt really know what the hell to ask! so anyways with my bladder full he does the scan and im 6 weeks!!!! (but calc from last p's should've been 8 ) and so hubby and i are nervous and then the doc says there seems to be something else there but smaller... could be twins OMG!!!! first time and twins... real shocker


so doc said very early will do another check up in 4 weeks ... its becoming more intense

Hi Ladies

So glad I found this site and it seems a few of us are from Cape Town I found out last week that I am pregnant with our 2nd child. Our son is 5 years old so we are so excited that there is another one on the way. I am only 5 weeks and due on Xmas day, 25 December. My gynae is Dr. Benecke, I've been a patient of his for years and was previously with Dr. Charles Heyser before Dr. Benecke took over from him. I'm away for work in May so my first appointment is only on the 24th of May - seems like a lifetime away. I'll be going to Cape Town Medi Clinic again. Dr. Benecke delivered my son via c-section at CT Medi Clinic in March 2007.

As early days as it is this pregnancy already feels different. I'm very bloated, heading out for some maternity clothes over the weekend, and I have terrible lower back pain. No MS just yet except I am experiencing some motion sickness when driving or a passenger in a car.

I really hate the long wait to see the baby again but going to the gynae every 2nd week will just exhaust my medical aid hehehe

My daughter keeps saying she wants a brother but I think I'm gonna have another girl............will see who is right.

My due date is 14/12 & the best news I heard was that if everything goes well & baby is not too big, I can give normal birth & I had to have a caesar with my lg. That was just wonderful news.

I don't have any MS but I also just feel offish.
