Lainie, I'll be giving birth at Cape Town Medi Clinic. I'm with Dr. Gaertner, I've only seen him once so far.

I was also wondering about the nappy story, I think I'll give Pampers Premium a try first. I also heard that Huggies Gold is quite good. I know there's someone in this group going the fabric nappy route? For the second time? I remember reading it earlier in the year.

Mosaneo, the exhaustion is just killing me! I'm battling to keep my eyes open, and sit down at every opportunity. I had the best sleep last night, and go to bed before 9pm everynight, but still feel like a zombie.

Mosa that book is so addictive i am already in the third book, i know exactly about feeling exhausted. I wish i could take a break already. I cannot even work half day we have to be in the office full day.

Lainie it would be great to meet before the babies come, let plan something.

Magz i have always been a pampers mommie and have always been happy.

Magz, here is my opinion on huggies vs pampers
My lg was on pampers the 1st few months but I wasn't completely happy cause I could always smell urine but I wanted to finish the packs that I got from family & friends.
I changed over to the huggies gold & was very happy with it. My lg stayed on it until I went over to the pull ups cause I didn't like the huggies ones & preferred pampers then.
Apparently the new white pampers premium pack is very good. I'm definitely going to try it out.
Stay away from the huggies red pack & the pampers orange pack(sleep 'n play) - crap crap crap

Every mother will have their preferences. So, try the brands out & then decide

for me Magz i used pampers for my son and i never ever had issues baby never had a nappy rash and his skin was sensetive.

my colleague says huggies has improved though.

Just a quick one...I'm getting a few nappies this weekend and wanted to get your opinion on the Huggies v Pampers question based on your experience.

2.) Normal or c-section? C-section

4.) When does your maternity leave start? 11 Dec
5.) How many weeks are you now? 28 weeks
6.) Name for baby yet? Nicholas

Do any of the Cape Town moms have any plans to get together or meet up? Would be great if we had an off forum group going to let all the ladies know when the babies arrive

Babyzee i am so tired already, today i just do not have energy. I try to read the books that Momtoc sent me but people here at work just keep disturbing me, lol. i am only like at the beginning of chapter two.

i dnt knw if i will make it till end of November, i am even thinking that maybe the last week of November i work half days.
