I saw that it says you must spend money but i didnt pay attention to that because i am a dischem customer and i applied for the bag in July so from then till now gave me enough time to spend that amount, lol. i had even forgotten about it.

I have decided to go back to my old Gynae coz he was good and i just have to make peace with delivering at Brenthurst, as long as baby is safe, we will be out of there within three days.

yho momtoc and she kept quite all this time shoo imjust glad they were able to take it out. im quite sure you cant wait to go on maternity leave and just rest coz all this drama is crazy.

The dischem bag sounds awesome but apparently you have to spend R300 on the moms & tots card before you qualify for the bag?!? Is that correct? I don't mind, just want to make sure.....

I'm telling you, I don't really know what a relaxing weekend is. We always have to go somewhere or always busy when we are at home....I don't know how I do it with a very, very busy lg. She doesn't stop talking & we always have to play teacher/children scenarios

Chantal, you are one lucky lady hey! How awesome is that. Sounds like your lg is going to have clothes for a very, very long time. I think your lg is definitely going to be spoiled rotten by both sides of grandparents

AFM, had a terrible headache since yesterday afternoon, took a panado but it didn't work, took 2 after dinner again - didn't work, I woke up at 1:30 with a massive headache & had to take another 2 panados. It is only going away slightly now.
Had some other drama with my lg yesterday. We took her to her ENT yesterday as she suffers from Sinusitis & I didn't want to take her back to the GP. Her nose is constantly blocked, eyes swollen underneath & complains of headaches. She also keeps fiddling with her left nostril to the point of redness & bleeding. So off we go, ENT says we can't do much at this stage as she is still small & suffer from seasonal allergies. We just have to keep on giving her Avamys every day & also antihistamine. So he examines her ears, throat & nose & that's where we get a shock. He tells us there is something stuck in her left nostril but he can't see what it is but he has to remove it now. He doesn't want to take her into theatre, he is going to try & get it out in his office I was so stunned. I ask my lg if she put anything into her nose, she says yes, it was something to do with her neclace that has those beads on & I ask her when did she do this & she said when she was at her old school............now, I have no idea for how long this child has been walking around with that bead up her nose but now it makes sense why she kept poking on the left side & why it kept on bleeding
Anycase, we all had to pin her down, which was so heartbreaking as she cried & screamed but luckily he got it out. Her nose obviously started bleeding alot but stopped quickly. I think this whole drama just made my headache worse

yep very disappointing Mosa but im definately signing up for a dischem bag.

The dicovery bag is nice, i loved mine.

Magz mine is a very nice blue bag with two small bags inside, small two packs of wipes, dischem baby bath products, shampoo, lotion, soap, body shampoo, bam cream, two johnson n johnson products, an avent blue pacifier and the useless vouchers. Just love the bags, dnt think i will be buying a nappy bag anymore.

I had a chilled but productive weekend. I washed all of baby's clothes, the lil leggings are so cute! Can't imagine how anything can be so small and cute, it was like hanging clothes for a doll

Talk about clothes i had my job cut out for me, my mom went crazy buying clothes for baby. First grandchild on both sides of the family, so this child is going to be spoilt! I am going to have my work cut out for me but i suppose that is what grandparents are there for

My mom bought so much clothes that it fits into a large suitcase and she was only able to bring half of it when she came over a couple of weeks ago. Different sizes though so i am sorting out the clothes and storing the older sizes till it fits her.

I think she has stopped now, we all told her she needs to stop!

Magz:I got the Discovery bag too and was also impressed by all the stuff they jammed into that bag, got some very useful stuff from them.

shoo Mosa you better find a doc soon i know i wouldnt be able to survive without that epidural.

talking about bags how appauling is bankmed i got a pack of sanitary towels, small pack of wipes and a washing rag and towel. how`s that for dispappointing Magz.
