Hi,

1.) When is your due date? 19th December
2.) Normal or c-section? Normal
3.) Boy or Girl? Girl
4.) When does your maternity leave start? When baby is born, leaving it to the last minute so i can spend as much as time with baby as possible
5.) How many weeks are you now? 28 weeks
6.) Name for baby yet? We are going to give her a christian first name and an indian second name. These are the names we like so far:
Christian Name: Gabrielle, Rebecca
Indian Name: Aishwari, Sirisha

Visited my midwife yesterday and everything is going great. Baby is moving alot in the evenings sometimes i am unable to get a full nights sleep I don't mind though as long as i know she is doing fine, will always love feeling her move it is so precious to me.

Just thought i'd share the following info with everyone, use it..don't use it. Thought it might be useful feedback. I have found a nursery school that i really like for her when my maternity is over, it is called Wonderland Nursery school in Woodmead. Very nice place because:
- They have a good baby-to-carer ratio.
- Facilities are very clean, secure and well organised.
- They have plenty of stimulation for the children at every stage of development.
- They encourage children to reach their full potential.
- They take from 3mths to 6yrs (or 5yrs whichever is the age for grade 0), which is great cause we do not have to worry about going through the process of changing schools and hoping she gets accepted.

I had a look at two other nursery schools in my area (sunninghill), the one was not very clean and the classrooms were small especially the baby area and the other was neat but they only take up to 4yrs and they take in a lot of babies...so the baby-to-carer ratio is not very good (feel that there is too many babies per carer).

Anyways that is my input, i will post a bump picture soon.

you guys wont belive this one. this morning my fridge decided to die and my heart was so sore coz i really wanted to start buying the big items. I just called my dad have a pity party on the phone and he says to me let me tell you a secret!!!!!!!!!

so im listening attentively now he says to me remember on Monday when your hubby took us grocery shopping and i say yes. we bought you a cot, pram and car seat but dont tell anyone.

how amazing is that i love my parents. fortunately my mom is stylish so i know she bought me great stuff.

maybe he is Clueless but he really needs to start growing now it`s almost time.im short but hubby is a bit tall.

Im actually on the mommy 2b shakes Momtoc gynae`s orders from clicks but the issue is the milk content gives me a runny tummy i actually decided that the best thing is to use water.

i think that baby will be fine on the due date i just need to put in more effort to fatten him up.

Hi everyone

pales, only 2kg's???? That is not alot hey but your baby is picking up weight. 1.6kg for 32 weeks is NOT that bad. I'm going for my next check up on the 8th of Oct & will be almost 32 weeks then. I'll see what my LB weighs then cause when I went for my 4D scan when I was over 27 weeks he weighed 1.076kgs . How much did your baby weigh when you were 28 weeks? Have you tried drinking a pregnancy shake like Mom2B for example? I like the strawberry one.

Ms_S, so happy your check up went well. Soooooooooo, what is the weight damage??? lol
I also need your answers on the questions I asked yesterday Just so that we can keep track of everyone.

mosaneo, don't stress about being the last one on the list. Remember, those who can give normal & who are expecting in dec, don't really know when their baby will come. Your LO might decide to make his arrival earlier As for leave, I think I'll be back at work before everyone else cause I'm only taking maternity leave

Mandri, man oh man are you a busy bee!!!!!!! Are you already getting the nesting feel? hahahaha You are so nicely on track with everything. You must come post a pic of the nursery & enjoy your scan tomorrow. As for maternity leave.............you must tell your hubby that the law is, you are NOT allowed to work for the 1st 6 weeks after baby is born

AFM, I went to the gym yesterday. I'm so lazy & not going as often as I should but I want to get myself a maternity costume & hit the gym swimming pool but my best friend needs to join me......
I also got my discovery baby bag yesterday & can't wait to use the vouchers but I'll wait until after my baby shower before I hit the shops. I first want to see what size nappies I get...

Shame Pale! If I may ask, how tall are you? And your hubby? Perhaps the baby is just small of stature? You know, petite?

oh Marijke i have gained only 2kg`s since and the baby is a bit small for her licking. she mantioned that everything is fine with the fluid etc the only issue is on her machine the baby weighs the same weight as a 30 week old baby and he was 32 weeks last week on the day of the check up. I know that babies will never weight the same but it`s still a concern.
