I am not sure if I am late to say this but when I gave birth to my first born my midwife told me that I must wash with coarse salt water every hour for the first 3 days. I must say it helped me a lot because on day 4 I could walk and do everything.

Hey Bukho, the Dr gave me cream as well after a salt wash I must apply the cream
It's a S1 cream so u can get it without a prescription its called ADCO - AMETHOCAINE

Breastfeeding is definitely a challenge and painful but it's also a very special moment. Weird feelings when u become a mother.

Hie ladies. Logging in is js frustrating now. @GML wc gel is tht ...can i get it otc or its prescription only? These stitches r so taking away my joy . Breastfeeding is painfull as well

Hi Ladies,

GML - the pain below is bad it feels like my stitches are going to pull out! I am like a little girl trying not to do to much. The fear of this thing opening or something is killing me. Sjo 12 hours felt like 12 days heheh

So far things are going ok he cannot seem to get enough milk from me so I am left with the difficult decision to give extra feed.

So I went to the gynae and it seems I have a slight infection. Hence the pain down there. It was so strange because I didn't feel the pain after birth. Only 6 days after did I feel pain.... anyway, he gave me this anaesthetic gel to put on my stitches- it is heavenly. Numbs the whole area.

My little miss gained her birth weight back. So thrilled and breastfeeding is going smoother now. I've resolved to mix feed breast and formula. My boob couldn't handle it.

I feel your pain stiches down there is very painful I cannot sit.

I gave birth to a healthy little man last night 19:10. My waters broke yesterday morning at 03:00 so we rushed to hospwjust to be in labor for 12 hours. Anyway he came very quickly after that.

I must say the pain was very bad and after the 2nd push I felt like I couldn't anymore and with the 3rd push he was in my arms.

Now our March group is complete with mommies and babies.

I am so in love.
