@Mommywanna - he's 6.5kg now :) which is more in line with a 17 week old baby than a 27 week old.

and I can see most of his milestones are more in line with 17 weeks than 27 weeks. I also bought the HIPP rice cereal but I avoided the flavours, maybe I should them a try.

Soon2be - Shame must be so small? I know how you feel I feel the same. I hate being at work. It feels like I am missing and will be missing out on everything in his life.

We started solids a week ago, cereal once a day and veggies once a day. I don't like the rice cereal and he also didn't want the cereal so we got the HIPP Organic Bananna cereal and he loves it. I am also steaming fresh veggies for him.

Angela - I am so green it's not fair. But you are one lucky momma. Enjoy every second.

@angela you lucky girl. I'm so miserable at work guys I can't begin to tell you.

Looking forward to the solids journey though. with my first baby, I gave him a lot of store bought food (Purity, woolies etc.)

I'm planning to make all my food at home this time around with the occasional store bought / ready meals

Hello ladies

It's been a while . My baby is 20 weeks today and we started solids 2 weeks ago with rice cereal 1s a day then last week twice today we started with yellow vegetables for lunch . I resigned from work and now staying with baby full time and studying part time . I haven't received my uif I will follow up next month and hopefully get all of it once.

Hi ladies

It's been a whiiiiiiile! Glad to hear all the babies are well and growing happily!

I came back to work 2 weeks ago since Jan and even as we speak, I feel like crying. It's not so much about missing my baby - which of course I do very much but just being at work. I don't think I want to be here anymore. I wish I could afford being a full time mompreneur!

So because my baby was premature, I have to keep track of both the age according to when he was actually born as well when he would have been born. So he's 27 weeks old now and 17 weeks

Started solids yesterday with rice cereal twice a day.

Everyone back at work?

@GML, I don't know who did the UIF calculation and what it was based on because it makes absolutely no sense.

Hi GML - Zak are getting big now but e is not getting fat. He is tall and skinny lol. He is 6.1kg at 18 weeks and 67cm

Gees I would have died, but if you are bored than I guess its better. Zak is also an easy baby. I didn't even notice when he had his 1st tooth cut through. I only realised it Monday night,

I have not yet received any payments from UIF, I have to go back tomorrow to hand in originals for the 4th time. I am so upset with them. I hate standing in those lines, it takes forever.

Nunuza - Time flies hey.

Please add pictures of your little ones.
