I never had spotting in all 3 pregnancies but yesterday I had the most intense stretching/pulling kinda pains right where baby is at the moment, felt like AF was gonna pitch, kept running to the loo and today no pains so I have a suspicion that was round ligament pain...

@Nikita: Sorry about the heartburn. I also find that if I eat anything too oily or fatty then I'm terribly uncomfortable. Also been experiencing terrible gas, also at night.

Morning ladies

Work has been a bit quiet, so haven't had a chance to come on and catch up!

Yesterday, had quite a scare!!! Started spotting which totally freaked me out. I was exactly 6 weeks yesterday so called the gynae to find out if I should be concerned. She wanted me to come through yesterday for her to examine me. Went through at lunch time. She did the scan, we could see the heart beat She said it looked as if there was good implantation and that the spotting was most likely due to a ruptured blood vessel as the placental attachment starts embedding deeper into the uterine wall. Unless the spotting doesn't become like a full blown period, then there is nothing to worry about.

Did any of you ladies experience any spotting?

@Jay-Bee, I bought it at JAM, it is a clothing store that get all their clothes from all the big stores like Edgars. The sports bra make I bought is shelley, I really have to go back to buy another one. I think I will buy another M and then also a Large? Not sure how much these ladies of mine will grow

AFM - Had 3 slices of pizza last night and then heartburn, so no more pizza!! Is anyone else struggling with lots and lots of gas? It is really bad at night I have no appetite today just feeling moody as hell not in the mood for anything, feeling emotional and it is just horrible And I had a horrible itching episode last night lol

Hey Jay-Bee, yes I had a full bladder when the GP did the scan, I hardly saw anything but he measured the "sac" but I look forward to next week Thursday I look forward to seeing something in the sac and to hear a heartbeat

So you must be so excited for your scan tomorrow!!!! Yipppeeee! Do that not do internal at 8 weeks still?

Oooo yum! My gran makes the most amazing Tomatoe Bredie... I was craving french toast, so that was my dinner last night.


Girls, how do you feel about intimacy with hubby in early pregnancy?

@ Ninies, the 12 week scan and tests can be so nerve wrecking as well. You must post a pic of baby at 12 weeks. Do you think it is a girl or boy?

@ Nikita, I also always book my appointments early and seeing him tomorrow at 9:30am and hubby is going with. If I remember correctly you said that you bought a very comfortable sports bra, what was the shops name again?

@ Lera, welcome, you are close to MTC. I agree and would most definitely see another gynae as most people go at 7/8 + 12 + 16 weeks or even more in between.

@ CDLK, glad your nausea has gone, do you have any cravings or is it just hunger?

@ Am, I hear you, I have my 8 week scan tomorrow and I am just as scared as you. It feels like I will be on stage talking in front of 1000's of people! We just have to believe that all will be fine.

@ MtC, Did you have your scan with a full bladder. I am on strict instructions to have a full bladder tomorrow for the scan which I am sure won't be a problem as it fills so quickly. Time is also moving so quickly for you and hearing that heartbeat is going to be such a joy. I think that your weight gain is healthy and my tummy also looks preggy already. But I have not gained any weight which makes me wonder if this is okay, will ask the Gynae tomorrow as I always worry about everything.

AFM, last night I craved Tomato Bredie and just had to make it and today I don't even want to look at it. Strange every day I want different foods and then just have to have it.
