Amandatjie, sorry about the heartburn, really does suck!

Today I'm 6 weeks and 1 day and I'm feeling so fat! Hahahahaha! I'm sure you can see I look pregnant... My nipples are burning! And again all I want to do is eat.. My pre pregnancy weight was 51kg, weighed myself last night and I'm sitting at 53kg, is that even possible to have already picked up 2kg's in like 2/3 weeks??????

Afm , I am about 7 weeks today my appointment is Monday, I really can't wait to make sure everything is fine. I am so scared that there might be something wrong.
I have really tender bb's and I since yesterday I have bad heartburn. Bought myself some gaviscon.

CDLK, Ninies is right, have a look on Mr Price online shopping, i quickly browsed and they have some really nice looking clothes. May just end up buying a few tops, pants im sorted for as i live in my tights at the moment although i could do with a few dresses for Summer

Lera, i would suggest you go see another Dr, i couldn't wait till December to see my baby... That's insane!

AFM, so i went to see my GP last week Saturday and after telling me he couldn't see a pregnancy in the womb, he finally found the sac and i measured at 5 weeks and 3 days, so today i am 6 weeks. Not many symptoms apart from sensitive nipples and boobs and super bloated, i look 4 months pregnant. I have also changed my gynae due to financial reasons and im seeing the gynae next week Thursday 8 October, so i will be around 7 weeks and im so hoping to see a baby and a heartbeat as i could see nothing in the sac last week Saturday although that was a on the tummy scan and not an internal....

I am new on here have been following this group for over a week now. I am 6 weeks today according to LMP and I confirmed with my gp last week. My issue is he says I should only come back mid December (ill be 17 weeks then) and I am just not comfortable with that. Should I go to another doctor?

@CDLK - do yourself a favour and check the mr price online store. I bought some stuff there this last month and they can either deliver to your door or to a store that you choose. I chose store delivery as it only costs R 5.

Good luck to everyone having a scan this week, it's so nerve wrecking but so exciting!

AFM: Still busy at work. Will probably be in overdrive until December. At least it makes the time go by faster! The last week I have been struggling with a really irritating cough that just doesn't want to go away. I've been wondering if ACC200 is safe, do you ladies know?

Still 3 weeks until my next scan, I can't wait. So excited and then my first trimester will also be over...yay! I must admit I have been feeling rather ok symptom wise lately. Nausea is gone, hunger is back! Some days I actually now have to remind myself I am pregnant!

I went to Menlyn over the weekend...not ONE chain store in the entire Menlyn has maternity wear. Managed to get a few things from a small Mr Price store in Carlswald, but not much. Will have to go visit shopping centres across Joburg it seems...
