@MommyWannaBe - i think towards the end they say some womans placenta's get "old", and they sometimes worry whether it is effectively providing for the baby.
A collegues wife was told her placenta was old, and the dr gave her a week before he would declare it an emergency. The morning of her appointment, she went into labour!
Yay about clearing you for natural. With all that you have been through, you will do great
Glad about the car! we are waaay to dependent on them!
there is waaaay too much paperwork. AT least its done, so when you are back at the hospital, you dont have to bother!
regarding due dates, they are just estimates. when the baby is ready, the baby will come!
@Jay: I didnt prep enough before the birth to get my legs strong enough. I was very eager for an assisted squat (the hospital of course did not have birthing stools), but i did end up on my back, but not completely flat. the bed was quite inclined. i was horrified when they wanted to put my feet in stirrups.
i did tear a little, and required a few stitches, but no episiotimy! This time, i am going to do more perrinial massaging. The last time around, i was kinda grossed out by it! haha!
