2015/2016 Pregnancy

Hi Jay-Bee - Welcome and congrats. Yeah that's what they are and sometimes they are very painful! It's kinda weird how your body works and getting ready for birth so long in advance.

They say that you get Braxton hicks from 16 weeks but you don't feel them and if it's your 1st you also don't notice them until later.

Maj - Oh yeah you can say that again. The body preggy roll is just an irritation for me, it does not help at all and it's to big. Lol it's a big mission to turn for me now as well I have no more stomach muscles.

My whole stomach goes hard when I get these contractions. My baby's head is down in the canal already so the weird cone shape can be his bum he sticks out. He's hands are in front of his face and my bladder is his buddy. I don't know what he does to my bladder sometimes but it's the weirdest feeling ever

@ Maj, I asked the Dr and he says its because baby is lying straight across my tummy which makes it hard and i think when I see some weird cone shape its her head.

lol, people always think they know better. They tell me I look small for 27 weeks but I feel big and the bump is growing each day. I have decided now to curb my biscuit craving and only indulge on Sundays, my legs are getting way to chunky

@ MommywannaB, new pillows make such a difference. I went and bought 1 of those body pillows, i put it onto the bed and realised its waaay too huge for me!
I sleep with a thin pillow under my tummy, and a cushion between my legs. Its a mission to turn!

@Jay-Bee01, did you ask your dr? Is it the entire tummy or just a particular place? I used to get these hard "patches" (esp above my belly button) during my previous pregnancy, and seem to have started now too. It was especially when she is moving around, but its a slow drawn out sort of movement. It turned out, the baby was just sticking her butt out!!
Your tummy will still grow!! waay too many people are shocked that I still have 3 months! and i know my tummy will def be getting bigger.

@ Mommy, I read that the egg shape tummy is Braxton Hicks as I was googling why my boepie goes rock hard for a few minutes and I think it is B.Hicks but wondering if it is too soon. I was put on Utrogestan in my first trimester.

I am 27w3D and sometimes my tummy feels like it just can't get bigger and at its capacity and then sometimes its a bit "softer" oh well thats my story

Nope Hubby got new pillows for me and he tuks me in so now I am comfy. I actually sleep ok now only get up to pee twice at night

i can imagine. im normally ok with tablets, but im struggling to even take the multivitamins nowadays!

Have you moved the couch to your room yet?

Hey, hahah no it's back to normal, however he sometimes go crazy in there and then it's egg shape again for a few min.

It's the worst being in hospital I miss my hubby at night amd I worry so much about my 4 leg babies at home.

Oh no good luck with things at the office. The utrogestan helps a lot but I don't like drinking tabs en it makes me gassy and miserable.
