Hey ladies

Congrats Toni, baby is gorgeous.

Went for my last check up and i am scheduled for a c-section on Tuesday. Baby is still very high and loose and is facing upwards so we decided to go the safe route. 

Some people say its the easy way out but im thinking what is best for me and baby at the end of the day. And yes it still needs to sink in that in less then a week i will be a mom. Im nervous and excited.

Also just waiting now. i'll be 38 weeks on Friday. really hoping he will want to come around 39 weeks as i still have a few things to to before i am ready for him.

Had a scan today at 37 weeks 3 days and NST. Baby is fine weighing 3.1kg and is head down just hasn't engaged yet, will do a cervix check either Friday or Monday at my next appointments and by next Friday I will definitely be induced due to GD, have slight back pains but NST hasn't picked up any contractions so it's a waiting game

Toni, that is so exciting. praying all will go well with the delivery.

Madi, please do not accept baby being high as a reason for a csec. if you want to go natural, then just wait it out. it is not a requirement for baby to drop and engage long before labour. with my 2nd baby he only dropped and engaged 20 min before he was born (out af a 4 and a half hour labour)
you can rather go to a chiro, when the alignment of your pelvis are all correct, baby might drop down easily, but again, it is not a requirement.

Aeysha, hope all went easily with the stitch removal. now it is just waiting hey.

i'm 37 weeks today. feeling as huge as can be.
at 35 weeks baby measured 3kg's, so i'm really expecting a little giant here...hehehe
we also had a baby shower over the weekend - it was such a lovely get together. 
7 working lays left for me, but i am considering asking the gynie to write me a sick note for the last few days.

i cannot wait for all the birth stories.
