I went for my checkup today at 39 weeks and they have admitted me to be induced. The doc said that they don't really let moms go past 38 weeks here (I was transferred to Mowbray Maternity) if they have BP issues. So my princess will be here soon

@madie hope baba drops soon, I wasnt suppose to have a baby shower but my mil and cousin in law had a surprise one for me and it was fun 

Afm been having slightbperiod pain type cramps in my lower back but they are far apart like 5bhours or so so figure it's not too long now, stitch removal is Tuesday and we just got everything done last night, even packed my bag and my mil keeps telling me it looks like my belly dropped so whatever happens now I'm prepared. Considering Tuesday I'll be 36 and half weeks

Gynae is happy with us, but baby is still very High. We will see how baby is at 38 weeks otherwise I might be getting a c-section.

Its a wet winters day in cape town today, hope everyone is keeping warm.

Hi ladies,

I'm 38 weeks today. Been put on a low dosage tablet for my BP. Last week it started creeping up a bit to borderline (around 140/90). I've also been down with a cold, so that's been fun. Otherwise, baby is fine, still nice and busy so I don't have to worry about counting movements.

I finally packed my hospital bag on Monday and I'm going to sort our room out to make place for baby's clothes and toiletries.

And now the waiting game continues...

Hey ladies 


I'm close to 36 weeks as well, had my baby shower this past Sunday and had such a blast, made some real memories. 

We finished peanuts nursery about 2 weeks ago and it is everything I wanted. I just washed out the last of the clothing we received today 

My stitch is being removed next Tuesday so I should really think of packing my bag soon hopefully I'll be done this weekend  but since it's my sister in laws birthday in 2 weeks and we not exactly sure if we will be available then we planning on taking her out this weekend so hopefully I make the time lol

Cant wait to hear about all our little ones arrivals

Im reaching my 36 week mark on Thursday and going for a check up at my gynae. Baba is growing like crazy and im getting more and more tired by the day but furthermore im great.

I have started getting braxton hicks since last weekend so i already packed my bags for incase something happens. Baba's room is also about 50% done, i just want to finalise everything now.

how are you doing?
time is flying and we are nearing the end. getting excited to meet this little baby.

I am just over 35 weeks and baby is growing like crazy.
i have another appointment just after 38 weeks and then it is just waiting for him to get out.
we still have a lot of moving around of furniture to do to create space for this peanut in our house. hopefully we can do some of it this weekend.
i probably should start thinking about packing a bag...
