Hope all y'all in Cpt are keeping warm and dry in this lovely wintery weather (sorry - I love rain!)

Huggles - I have the same problem - I can see D moving and kicking but as soon as DH puts his hand on my tummy, she stops dead (or, I will feel her but he can't) I feel so bad but I'm sure he will be able to see it soon
I'm also doing ante-natal classes in June (every Thurs eve) at Constantia.
I guess I will have to wait and see how bad the contractions are to see if I can make it without any drugs - will possibly try gas first before any injections

Re flu vac - I had it done and did not get a sniffle. was told by my gynae, gp and the nurse who gave me the vac that it is very important for preggies to have it (just not in the 1st trimester) - But each to their own

I've just passed the 24wk check point - scary how fast it goes!! 2.5wks till I see baba again (have invited MIL this time)

We're going for our 22 week FA scan on saturday (21.5 weeks). Can't wait to see my bean again and how much he has grown. Have invited my mom and MIL with to catch a sneak peak at their grandson. They are both excited!

He was kicking so hard last night while i was eating (first time it's been super hard - only about 3 kicks), i swear i actually saw my stomach move with one kick!

But shame, every time DH tries to feel he keeps still and won't move! Stubborn little thing LoL.

Just came back from my doctors appointment.
Baby Zakumi is doing great and she is now
weighing 423g, not growing as fast as she
was before. I think I am happy coz then my
chances of having natural will increase.

Anyway, back to the Baby Expo. The Jhb one is from Thursday to Sunday. I got a free ticket, so now I'm considering whether I should go. Hubby's off on Friday, so he can go with, but he said I'll just be disappointed again (I'm always disappointed at these expos?shows)
But, I think I might as well go, even if we can just get nappies and possibly bottles a tiny bit cheaper. Which reminds me, I better familiarise myself with prices this week. I have NO IDEA what things go for these days. Also saw that Cherry Melon will have a store there, so maybe they also have some worthwhile offers.

As for clothes, I'm fortunate that I work in a jeans&T-shirt environment. But I still like to look decent. Must say, the Yummy Tummy band is great, so I can still wear all my pants. My biggest problem is tops/shirts. I have huge boobs (and it's the first place that grew with this pregnancy). Got some nice jersey/cardigans at Mr Price (not pregnancy). Find that Edgars and Woolies pregnancy ranges are very limited, end up buying normal tops. Thank goodness for the new loose styles this year.

Have a great evening ladies. I had a tough day today, so now I just want to put my feet up. Can't wait to soak in a nice warm bath.
