Beautiful pics Robyn...strange cz my tummy is almost the same as yours and m 25wks3d. people say the reason for the body pains is cz my body is still tiny, so the tummy is straining my back.
Lerato- i also still need to decide on the baby formula, but my friend is NAN. m not sure abt that, maybe experienced mommies will tell us as his is also my 1st pregnancy.

Hi there Ladies
Been quite hectic at work, so abit quiet from my side.

Went for my 27wk scan yesterday with DH & MIL.
Dakota now weighs 950g and I've picked up a total of 5.3kg altogether (was abit nervous of stepping onto the scale as I really felt like I had gained about 10kgs this month alone!)

I'm starting ante-natal classes on Thurs - feeling excited and abit nervous, but at least DH will be with me (shame, he had to reschedule his Jhb trip just for the class!)

Got our compactum yesterday as well, so now I'm jsut waiting for the linen & decor I ordered to arrive (probably only end June) but it's certainly starting to look like a nurdery, rather than a spare room!

I'm also going for natural (will see how the bad the pain gets before I decide on gas/epi etc)
Thankfully my gynae is very pro-natural and pro-epi so we'll see how things progress but 3 of my 4 friends who recently gave birth had to have emergency C's which is abit scary (and they each have completely diff body types, so can't blame big baby from small mommy)

I must be very lucky but I'm having such a great pregnancy so far - no aches or pains, sleeping fine, no stretch marks (touch wood, spit 3 times, throw salt over my left shoulder ........)
So sweet - DH said last night that's he's so proud of me and how well I'm doing, how being pregnant really suits me and how much he loves my bump!

Here's some pics of my 27week bump: (funny how it always looks smaller with clothing)

I want natural an if the pain is bad then i will go for an epidural, (though i've heard most ppl saying that there are after effects - like getting back pains after 3-4 months of using it) but who wants to stand that pain :)

Well personally i would not recommend any of use ladies t go for C-section unless the doc/Gynea say's soo.

let's rather deal withthe pain once and let it go rather than having scar's an the good part abt natural is that it gets healed faster than the c-section.

That is my personal perspective :)

Hi :)

Sonay I am so so Jealous!
You will be at home laying in a warm bed and some of us have to get up and brave the morning cold for another 3 months

Its so difficult for me to get up in the morning and it feels like I had just fallen comfortably asleep when my alarm goes off in the morning ...I have developed this mad habit though to count down the weeks days...(like this morning I thought 3 more days...since today is actually a day more but since I am awake already it doesn't count  )

I also share the feeling of not being so comfy when sleeping and at my desk at work it feels like my body is pulling stiff if I sit for too long without just walking a bit.

Enjoy your evening ;)

Regarding CS scar, mine was not very painful at all. But a CS is regarded as MAJOR abdominal surgery so one needs to be careful. After 5 yrs, I sometimes still "feel" it (not sure how to explain it, it's not sore, but I'm aware of it) Might be true about the tummy muscles not getting back to normal, would not know as I was never blessed with a proper six-pack.
But I also saw my SIL's tummy, she has an ironing board and she still had the cut from her belly-button down to pantyline.
Think it depend on your own body.
