Thanks Julz, Vix had me worried here for a moment... Thought I was the only one who had milk coming out at about 6 different "holes" ;)

Angie, I'm really lucky that the twins very rarely want something to drink at night. When they are really thirsty they ask for juice but that almost never happens. Most of the time they don't finish their bottles of milk so we just put it in the side of their cot and they get it themselves if they're really thirsty.

The twins wake a lot when they're teething. Well they don't really wake up, they just moan and cry in their sleep. And last night Abi woke up at 4. Her dummy came off it's chain and she kept crying and going TA TA TA but C was too sleepy and didn't even check for her dummy, which is the first thing we usually do, he just brought her into our bed and she didn't sleep for an hour and a half. Eventually woke AIdan and they only fell asleep once I went looking for Abi's dummy. They slept until 8h30 which was really needed.

Lisha I don't think your friend's lo is hungry. They do tend to be more awake at night. She could offer more formula, She should feed more during the day if possible.

Hi ladies,

We had a good night Yeah! As I was extremely tired I really appreciated the fact that Cj went to bed early and slept extremely well!

When I breastfed my milk came from more than one place, and I also had the same issue as Vix, when Cj unlatched - and I did not cover my breast immediately, milk squirted the poor child in his face several times!
I also had a lot of milk, for the whole time I breastfed I had to wear breastpads.

Julz, how is Dylan today?

Ladies, I really don't know how you cope if your LO wake up and want something to drink during the night, I feel so blessed with Cj as when he goes to bed, he does not wake up until the next morning, only exception is when he is sick! I really take my hat of to you guys, I would be a real zombie if I don't get my uniterrupted sleep at night!

Hi

I lost long post this morning and then got busy so let's see what I can muster up :)

Plasters was a complete bust but thing is Shrey didn't even see them or know they were there. He was asleep when we got home and I just put him in car seat asleep. Only woke up when we got home and I don't have to explain what the mood is then. Started a huge cry ... not like tantrum but genuinely upset :( Then dh felt sorry for him, and he knew Shrey hasn't been 100% the last 2 days, so he said not today ..... so now instead of just trying to take it away I will put something horrible tasting on. An older lady at work says the only thing that worked for her daughters first child was deodorant on the nipple lol now I'm sure my darned hubby will have something to say about that too hehehe. Will try the aloe stuff as soon as I can find it.

Other than that last night he was still a bit restless and woke twice for short spurts. Still not ideal but way better than Sunday night.

Guys a quick question. My friend had a 2 or 3 week old and she wants to know how much formula to give baby at night. She does bf during the day and then has 2 100ml bottles during the night but my friend thinks baby is still hungry. I told her I would ask you guys but maybe she must increase by maybe 25ml's till she feels baby is getting enough. Is that correct or not?

The milk comes from quite a few holes all over so yes not just the middle.

Morning mommies.

Nicole, I've already finished the doc for you so I'll send it now. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. I have a lot more ideas but I just can't remember all of them right now.
Oh, and you'll see I wrote about the thank you favours, IF you do decide to do them, let me know. I can always help you with them if you decide to do the cookies I suggested. :)

Pfairy, I just ran to my postbox to look for my package but alas it hasn't arrived. Vix & Nelria has me all excited now lol.

Vix & Nelria, Aidan has quite a fever today so I'll just check how he is tomorrow and let you know if I'll still come. Don't want to make Xen even sicker or give it to C. But I'm sure it's just teeth.

Lelani, so glad you're all moved in! :) Very impressive.

Pfairy, The twins also drink nesquick at night. I put 1tsp in 250ml milk. But during the day they get milky tea and if they wake up during the night and want milk I just give them normal so I wouldn't say they're hooked on it. BUt I also want to try to get them off it completely.
