Hi Ladies, sorry to hear there are soo many sick babies again!
Mandy, glad to hear Cam is well for a change
Nelria, I'm glad you like the blankie, with work now I won't be able to market them though. Its keeping me very busy and in the evenings Iris demands a lot of attention....
Re: Birth & Incubator; I had natural and Iris wasn't put into an incubator. She was given to me for about an hour and hubby & I was left alone in the delivery room with her. Then they came in to clean me up (I was very tired and not in any condition to get up & have a shower) and took Daddy to give Iris her 1st bath. She didn't drink right away, only later when we were in our room already. I was lucky that although she didn't latch properly at 1st, I never got cracked or very sore nipples. And I seem to be a dairy cow

Oh, and Simone, milk doesn't come out the centre
Lelani!!!! May you have many happy times in your new home...
Lisha, how was your night? I think I will keep on BF until at least after the winter. We are also thinking of moving her into her own bed after winter, although the bed will still be in our room in the beginning.
Since being at the daymothers Iris doesn't sleep during the day at all anymore

But apparently yesterday afternoon she went to her car chair sat down and fell asleep about 20mins before hubby fetched her. So hopefully she will do that more often as otherwise she is very demanding when I get home.
Ok, Julz, Helen, Vix, Nicole, Lwasi and everyone else I didn't mention, hope you all have a lovely day.
Gotta go now...
