Hi guys,
Lisha- here I am! Sorry I was busy finishing an order I need to deliver. I was working til 11.30 last night and straight back to it this morning.
So now I am officially taking off for a good few days so I can relax. I have been suffering terrible cramps and just want to relax now!
Ange- I agree, DH needs to make up for his lack of effort. I have to admit though, I think Elwyn thinks like you everytime he comes home! My house is always a tip with C around and lately I haven't had the time to tidy up. If I went to hospital the house would be spotless when I got back, even the kitchen so I am very lucky! When I went to my mums for a few days I got home to the tidiest kitchen I have ever seen. I must say though, it doesn't happen often, if I'm here then it's left to me. He just gets tidy and busy when he's lonely!
Nelria- so pleased you are better! I'm sure Boeta is waiting for your gynae to come back! How does it feel to have gotten this far in your pregnancy? There's no ways you'll have to see Xen in NICU not even for an hour I'm sure! He's gonna be late!
Simone- glad the interview went well, FX for you! Hope you get to relax a little today at leasst.
Lelani- love your 'look at me' advice, will try that tonight, I usually just shout!
Julz- I think this moaning must be a phase, C is constantly 'fake' crying when he wants something and throwing huge tantrums when he doesn't get it. I don't know if I told you ladies but in Baby City I let him play with this push car thing for like 30min but then I really needed to leave. He was fine till we stood at the till, wow I have never seen a tantrum like it, I was soooooooo embarassed, all the neww or expectant moms were giving that ' can't you control your child' Look and all the grannies were giving me the ' oh shame, I feel bad for you, this happened to me a million times' look. Awful and there was such a huge queue.
I'm rying to ignore most of the attitude as I know it's attention seeking but sometimes I loose my rag!
Lisha- pleased DH has let up on the granny flat idea, he was probably testing to see how much you meant it!
As for the naughty corner as a joke, They all think it's a joke at first, C still does on occasion but I constantly face him into the corner until he stays. Like Cam when C realises I mean it he starts to cry. If you want to use the naughty corner the trick is perserverance and make them face away, it's punishment, it should be dull and boring to stare into the corner so they have time to think about why they're there. Oh and anyone else not being the punisher must look away, if everyone is looking at the child he will think it's a great way to get attention. Trust me, C is definately naughty enough but he know what's coming is worse if he doesn't stand in the naughty corner. I must say, at first he was going there a few times a day but now it's a few times a week because the threat is enough!
