Simone- that's great news about Addy's sleeping through! I'm sure you feel the world better for a full nights sleep. I'm sure it has something to do with her increased appetite but also age, eventually they sleep through 'naturally' as they get bigger. Bless addy and the 'food seat' LOL C just has a cheapy old style potty which he refuses to actually sit on because it's cold and uncomfy but he stands like Daddy at the front and pees in LOL I think for the poop I'll have to get one of those padded toilet seats and a foot stool. But that's long way off, I'm sure it'll take him a good 6 months to get a dry nappy, he's still slightly too young to think about the toilet each time.

PFairy- well this pregnancy is definately different to my last so I hope hope hope it's a girl. If It's not I'll be tricking Elwyn into a 3rd child one day he he he. Lovely picture, you don't look at all puffy and bloated. Isn't it mad that none of us saw one another pregnant!

Great that Mia doesn't want bottles anymore, I guess that comes from having a big brother.

I just made a huge pot of leek and potato soup and it is sooooo yummy, going to have a bowl now and freeze the rest. I just want to eat veggies which is mad because with C I ate 200g of chocolate every day.

Hi ladies

Go C! Wow that's awesome Vix! I'm jealous of saving with nappies! Lol. Our problem now....Addy uses potty as chair cause its shaped like a chair? On plus side...she sits on it, puts napkin on lap and eats food! Lol.

Yesterday she was bare bum and started pee pee'ing so I stopped her and told her to go onto potty....she sat, pressed, farted and ran off...so we still have long way to go!

Test sucked!

Zee ziani sounds like such a sweetie pie! Glad she enjoyed class!

Julz glad u had a nice meet!

U ladies look forward to holding newborns....as I mentioned I could barely hold 3w old! Thought I was gonna break her! Lol

On plus side in my life...Addy slept through again! I Went to bed armed with 40ml milk and 80ml water bottle...and plain water bottle....not the usual 500mls in various bottles! And she woke at 5am so I gave her the 120mls and she slept on. The 5am bottle not too bad hey? After 8 to 11 hrs...and she is starting to eat better during the day as well with supper! Maybe all linked?

Mandy 3.5hr nap???wow! Addy took 1.5hr nap today...that is long for us these days...she does 20min to half an hr a day!

hi all mommies

vix, good for C and the potty. Mia not interest in the potty or the toilet. Vix, when I hear about your pregnancy, it let me think about my pregnancy with Mia. so, maybe it's a girl for you.... here is a pic of me being 10 week pregnant with Mia... I was huge... boobs looked huge, my face look swollen.

ally, I loved your review. the place sounds so divine and I love the way you describe everything.

Simone, if hubby goes into africa, me and the children will stay here, but if he gets the job in swakopmund, I will pack immediately. I think we will get citizenship in Namibia quick, because I was born there and my father is still there.

Can't wait to for Xen to be born.

so, x had a rugby day yesterday. was so nice. worked last night till 9. was so tired last night. Mia is getting teeth in all 4 her "molars". It's terrible. she is in such a mood.

Mia don't want to drink out of a "baby" bottle anymore. so, I bought a few sip bottles. fairy and princess one's and one of Dora. she loves those.

OK I have to admit..... she loves oros and she loves nesquick. and water. Xander was exactly the same. She gets oros and nesquick for school. But she doesn't like sweets that much. she will maybe have a bite of a choc and then give the rest away. both of them is only alowed to eat sweets on a weekend. but she is so cute when Xander have biltong. she exchange her toys for the biltong. she loves salty things.

so, tomorrow is hubby's birthday. will just have a braai. nothing special. I was in every shop this morning looking for a towel like gown for him, but nothing.... don't know where to find one. will search tonight.

Awesome Vix. Well done C!!!!

We never close doors and are not private at all with each other and so i guess Dylan also understands the toilet concept now. Not going to rush things though.

I will take my lead from him.

Those heat packs are fab. I was just too lazy to reboil them .

Okay had better eat and spend time with family.

have a good night.

Julz- cute, 4m olds must look sooooo small now! Thanks for your excitement over the potty LOL I think because we have an open en suite C sees us pee all the time and I guess he's just picking it up. Also I've shown him the boy doll and the potty but without any water yet. I wasn't actually planning on showing him how to use the potty until about 2 because I'd heard boys are slower but I'll take his lead if that's what he wants. I also noticed for a month or so now, he won't allow us to look at him when he poops, he hides behind the sofa or outsoide in the garden LOL

I can't wait til Xen is born, I haven't held a newborn since C.

Oh I bought the best things ever for hospital! You know those heat packs that work when you push a little button in the middle? They're hand warmers really R30 from Crazy store. Well I bought them to stick on my boobs when I get the engorgement in hospital. Last time I propper freaked out when I woke with 2 rocks on my chest and the only thing that helped was those warm breast packs but you have to sit them in boiling water so these I can just keep beside my hospital bed and pop the button and voila hot packs for about 2hrs. I bought 2 sets so DH can take 1 home to re boil and make back to gel whilst I use the spares.

Also Pampers premium newborn nappies worked out at R1.74 per nappy so got some of those but I actually way over bought with C so I have tons of newborn nappies. Well I can exchange them if needs be. I bouth the newborn nappies @ R1 per nappy 2 years ago so good job I over bought.

Whooo hooo C just peed in the potty again tonight! Man I think this is going to work! How cool if he can at least be off daytime nappies when no2 comes!

Oh and Elwyn taught C to 'kiss the baba' so he kisses my tummy and then gives himself a huge round of applause! It's soooo cute!

O.k done talking about myself and C LOL
